I'm always interested to see how a team performs the next game after their manager was sacked. A tough game before the firing wont be any easier now he's gone.

May be slightly easier without our players being forced into a formation that doesn't suit them and hasn't worked since Christmas

No Phillips? Was he that badly injured when he was replaced yesterday?

Can't see Shan changing things too much (if he's in for this game). But I'm hoping he will get us playing the ball longer from goal kicks and get the players showing a sense of urgency, as opposed to fannying around making short passes outside our own box.

The players' body language was there for all to see on Saturday. Shoulders down, slowly walking to every corner and throw in. The team seems stale. They need shaking up and given some stability.

If we don't shake ourselves we'll lose 4 nil. Swansea have good movement generally and Dan James is electric - if he'd been let loose at our defence on Saturday it wouldn't have been pretty.

If injuries haven't cleared up and we go into this game with the same line up as the last I can see a serious tanking on the cards. Back four was a collective shambles as was the team as a whole. Found myself in the unusual position of actually laughing out loud at some of our attempts to defend against Ipswich. No insult to Ipswich but....... and they really should have battered us out of sight. They're not world beaters but I'm expecting Swansea to come here and play decent football with lots of movement off the ball, it's going to take one heck of a jump in performance to get anything from this game.

With this likely to see Shan in charge, im unsure on how he used to set up the youth/under 23 teams?

I imagine he will look to keep the same formation so I will assume that based on my team:

Johnstone

Holgate
Dawson
Hegazi
Gibbs (if not fit - play Townsend)

Barry
Morrison
Harper

Phillips
Gayle
Rodriguez

Johnstone

Adarabaiyo (Holgate if fit)
Dawson
Bartley (Hegazi if fit)
Townsend (Gibbs if fit)

Phillips
Field
Barry
Montero

Robson Kanu
Rodriguez

subs: Bond, Mears, Leko, Harper, Livermore, Johansen, Gayle.

If those in brackets are fit and play, then move Tosin and Townsend to the bench, drop Bartley, Mears and Harper from the squad.

For me, Gayle can't keep starting games. Since his suspension he hasn't been involved in matches at all. He was invisible for the final 20 mins against Ipswich.

Ah yeah. Move Field out to the left and put Johansen in the middle with Barry.

I'd be putting Murphy out there. I know he was very poor against Ipswich but he has showed in a couple of games that he knows the way to goal and did have a couple of chances on Saturday ...or even Kyle Edwards.

To be fair Murphy isn't a bad call. I thought he was ok Saturday. He tried to get forward and had a bit of pace.

I just hope whoever takes over mixes it up and doesn't keep playing JL and Barry all the time. They need to be rested every other game IMO and I don't think they play well together. I'm also a huge fan of Gayle, but no player should ever just be guaranteed a place in the starting line up.

What’s out lowest crowd this season? Just under 21k against Brentford wasn’t it?

Lowest league crowd is 20,949 as you say against Brentford. However there were only 665 Brentford fans present which means the home support totalled 20,284. The lowest turn out in home areas was against Bristol City 20,227.

I've no idea how many Swansea have sold, I'll check later if I get chance but it stands a very good chance of being the lowest gate of the season in home areas.
