Has anyone else been following Kemar Roofe's rise up the leagues??

Seems to have made the leap to championship level now with Leeds, be interesting too see how he does this season

Yep settled well into life in the Championship and probably now found his level after some hard graft in the lower leagues.

Interesting article on Richard Chaplow people may be interested in.
I quite liked him while he was with the Baggies, seems like he's had some challenges to deal with over the years.

Watching the England game, is Slovakia manager Jan Kozak the lad who we had on loan in the 2nd season under Robson?

I remember the year of our 2nd promotion under Megson we signed a LB by ye name of N'Doye (I think) and a forward called Slawoski or something like that, be interesting to see where these went.

Then scored a thunderous effort against Burnley, may have even been on his debut.

It was...he started like a house on fire if i remember correctly.

We had a few debutants that day i think...Haas, Hulse, O'Connor, Sakiri, Robinson

I know Hulse scored a few goals that season but God knows why we didn't sign Ashton instead. We were always being rumoured to sign him, he would have been great for us.

Does anyone remember the name of the lad we had on loan from Blackburn when the late Ray Harford was our manager?

I remember when we got him at the time Ray said that we couldn't afford his shoelaces, let alone buy him.

Doesn't ring any bells. After doing some research we only had Paul Beesley on loan from Man City in the short span of Harfords reign straddling 96/97 and 97/98.

I seem to remember us getting linked with Stuart Ripley around then. Could the shoelace comment have been about him?

Who was the lad we had on loan from Man City, a central midfielder, in the year we either lost in the play-offs to Bolton or went up the following year.

I remember him having shorts which looked 4 sizes too big for him.

Spent a lot of time on loan to lower league clubs and finished his career at Dandenong Wanderers in Australia.

Apparently.
