Clarke to select from same group which beat Derby and Atromitos
STEVE Clarke is taking his full first-team squad to AFC Telford United for this evening’s friendly with Serie A side Genoa (ko 7.30pm).

The head coach will select his starting XI from the same group of players that won 2-0 at Derby on Saturday and 3-1 against Atromitus at Shrewsbury on Monday.

Supporters can pay on the turnstiles at the New Bucks Head. Tickets are priced £15 adults and £10 concessions.

£15 plus 100 mile plus of petrol tipped the balance against me attending tonight in the end - I'll wait for the real stuff with Derby unusually the only friendly game I've been to this pres-season.
I did Sheff Wed., Barnsley and Forest last time around.

typical pre season game, not a great tempo but the players are having a little creative license. A few very nice touches and passes here and there. I've found Roofe to be quite entertaining.

It's not the worst game so far, but not very exciting. Albion have had some nice passing moves and a few shots, but nothing major.

The most exciting thing for me is knowing that it was only back in May that I managed my Year 8 football team at the cup final at the New Bucks Head and now Anelka and Dorrans are running around on the same pitch!

It was the District Cup Final, they hold the final there every year. All the schools in the area play to get through to it and they have all Year finals.

Pretty poor game in all honesty, but the kind of game that's not uncommon in pre season. Clear the players feeling training and matches a little which is understandable.

Only real worry for me was how stretched our squad looked. Clear we need 2 or 3 additions, but I imagine we will get them in eventually.

Goal came after Brunt and Ridgewell got suckered into the corner, Genoa player back-heeled to an unmarked teammate who crossed in and the end result was a goal. We had few half chances, best of which probably Dorrans shot which the keeper spilled but no-one followed up. Best player on the park for me was Kemar Roofe, had an excellent 60 mins or so before fading a bit. I'll keep banging on about it and boring people but Brunt is not a central midfielder, never will be.
