If so it'll be interesting to see the length of the contract on offer given that he's 30. Decent player. Pity we're playing them shortly especially as Mowbray is their new boss and obviously rates him. Lovely soft feet presumably.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Pedicure kit and Louis Vuitton foot powder as part of his signing on fee.

Strictly 100% not ITK   ;) .

🚨🔴🔵 Crystal Palace are closing in on deal to sign talented midfielder Adam Wharton from Blackburn.

Medical tests will take place today in London, already booked — as per @AndyBayes
.

Fee will be in excess of £20m.

Here we go, soon 🦅

20m + for Wharton, ridiculous.

Villa have offered 15m for Rogers from Boro apparently.

Boro only paid 1m for him apparently. Great deal for them even after the 25% sell on taken away.

Just the kind of signing we need to make. I very much doubt we'd have been back in for him even if we had some money available at the time.

Boro made about 6.5m on a player in 6 months. Our blokes in charge could only dream of it.

As you say, he's not on our footy brains radars  most likely.

Morgan Rogers is a talented lad, I thought he had every chance of pushing on but he needed to find a home to play. He’s done that and now he’s putting himself back on the bench for the next 6 months, probably loaned back to the champ next summer. Villa have sold players like Archer, Ramsey and the midfielder to Hull who based on what I’ve seen probably have similar ceilings to Rogers and then spend £16m on him.

Just don’t get this one from a football perspective for him or  for him or Villa. At least financially it makes sense for Rogers.

I doubt it as we sold him to Man City and they then sold him to Middlesbrough when City had a sell on clause.

It's an odd recruitment strategy to pay over the odds to basically re-sign every academy kid Albion lost.

It's so exciting Dan!

I do actually love transfer deadline day even though we are terrible at it usually.
