I think they will get what they are after.

They have actually only signed 3 havent they? Wilson, Gazzaniga and Muniz? About 20-22m combined.

There owner bought the Jacksonville Jaguars for £770m and they are now worth £2.3bn and with the way the NFL works it’s only likely to go up further. They’ll be fine. Sadly this is what are competing with. He’s written off a lot of loans to Fulham because it’s pocket change.  He lets his son treat Fulham like a play thing.

Yep, also helped fund his sons own Wrestling promotion.

Generally, lots of moaning fans from lots of clubs about lack of activity from their club in this window. Wolves, Villa, Liverpool, Newcastle just a few examples. Though it doesn't take much for Villa fans to moan.

Not doubting their individual wealth - I doubt their ability to comply with FFP in this division should it go tits up.

It’s only a small victory, but it’s quietly amusing seeing the Wolves fan meltdown that’s been 4 or 5 years in the making. Ever the fantasists, Wolves fans - even the sensible ones - convinced themselves that their owners had a business plan that revolved around the club getting to the Champions league and becoming a footballing super power. It didn’t matter that the more realistic aim of being an established prem club with aspirations to win a cup was more likely and even the football leaks revelations about the real business plan didn’t make them see sense.

Now, as the owners continue to sell their top players for a profit and replace them with younger, developing players, Wolves fans are losing their minds. Last season they turned on Nuno, now they are talking of turning on Shi and Fosun. In reality, they have a side full of international footballers with some interesting young players in back up, but it isn’t enough - the fantasists had convinced themselves they would be playing at the Camp Nou every other year.

The best they have had it in generations and they still can’t enjoy it  :D ;D ;) :P

£1.5m for Obafemi? That price has ended up being a lot lower than originally asked for. Not sure why they sold Jamal Lowe to Bournemouth really.

Blackburn in for Burke.

No way?! How much are they overpaying for Oli Burke or is it a loan?

It would actually damage Fosun's interests if they were further up the football hierarchy. Mid level Premier League is probably the sweet spot for the model to work. High enough up the pyramid to showcase the talent at a decent level but with enough market above them to be able to generate profits from fees by selling up the pyramid and not far enough up it to make recycling the failures too challenging.

Repeat after me Wolves aren't a football club they are a Fosun/Mendes trading platform to generate fees. Understand that and everything they do makes perfect sense.
