Michael Carrick will now take charge at Manchester United for the forthcoming games, while the club looks to appoint an interim manager to the end of the season.

Rumours that they had to pay 7.5m to OGS in compo. A full years wages. That's fair and standard compensation. The length, not the wage of course.

I think Man U want Rangnick as he will be happy to manage in the short term, as he doesn't want a manager position om a permanent basis as he has suggested in the past.

Unlike the other names mentioned as an "interim"  manager that may want the job permanently and could cause issues with fans in the appointment of Pochettino, who is the boards main target, should the interim manager be successful.
