As a moderating team we have discussed the best way to talk about ex-players and feel the best way is to have one topic where any ex-player can be discussed.

The point of the thread is to keep people updated on where some of our ex-players whether legend, boo-boy or even youngsters have ended up and what they are up to these days.

THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR TELLING PEOPLE THAT XX OR YY PLAYER HAS JUST SCORED A GOAL OR BEEN SENT-OFF ETC AS THERE ARE THREADS IN THE GENERAL SPORTS FORUM FOR THINGS LIKE THAT SO IF YOUR POST TELLING US THAT SIMON COX OR LUKE MOORE HAS JUST SCORED IS NOT IN THIS THREAD TRY THE OTHER FORUMS BEFORE MOANING AND PLAYING YOUR FACE TO US AS YOU MAY END UP LOOKING A BIT OF AN backside  ;)

There will be a seperate thread for players out on loan as there are still OUR players until we release them or sell them etc.

Not sure if this is the right place for this but....

Izzy Brown is looking some player for Luton.

Not seen much of him since he left to be honest but, having watched the highlights of their last two games, and looking at his stats, he seems fully fit and playing really well.

Not an ex player, an ex manager instead but Ron Saunders has died

Unfortunately for us Ron sold Steve Bull to Wolves, and Steve Bull hasn't really liked us since.

Former Arsenal and West Brom striker Carlos Vela, 30, is wanted by Barcelona. The Mexico striker currently plays in the Major League Soccer for Los

That would be a step up for Carlos

George Thorne moved from Derby to Oxford on a permanent deal. I remember being disappointed when he first moved to Derby, as he came from our youth and was supposed to be a great prospect, but maybe the club knew what they were doing.

A bit harsh on the lad. He got a horrible injury early into his Derby days (cruciate I think) and ain't been able to stay fit since.

Think he's had multiple cruciate injuries.

Thorne was nothing special and no loss to us, said when he first came through. Subsequently injuries ruined any chance of him even making it at Championship level.

Nottingham Forest have not extended Claudio Yacob's contract. Apparently hasn't played for 10 months. I assume due to injury. Shame for Claudio. At his best, one of the best ball winners you'll ever see.

Loved him when he was here.
He was a couple of yards of pace short of being a world class player
All the best Claudio

Great character, wonderful stopper and an absolute S houser. Criminally underused at times. I wish you all of the very best Claudio  8) .

Definitely a favourite of mine over the years with that partnership with Mulumbu. Reading that Forest fans would have liked to have seen more. Good luck to him, would be nice to see him back at The Hawthorns at some point.
