3 good chances.  We've had the ball a fair bit but made no progress then when we concede possession we are giving away chances.

Brunt gave the ball away cheaply, turned down an easy ball on his left foot to come inside, then gave Livermore a waaaay too short pass.
We ended up with a good counterattack, poor effort from J-Rod.

Listening on radio, sounds like the same old story so far.

Opposition had a few good chances already.

Defending comical as usual
Brunt giving the ball away and looking clueless
Unable to string a few passes together
J-Rod looks like he's asleep
Hull keeper untroubled
Good news - Hull are also awful

Morrison just missed a good chance, time and space on the ball just outside the box but high and wide.  Good work from Hegazi and J-Rod in the build up.

Pleased with the extra man in midfield, but it is a shame that it has taken an injury to Gayle to force Moore into doing it...

Still not happy with three at the back but pleased Bartley is suspended.
Extra man in midfield would be useful, but Livermore Brunt and Morrison together don't make more than one. Need passing and vision in the middleto take and use the ball as well as the ability to get forward in support, and able to run back at speed to tackle or cover. You cannot have this with the old men we use.
Fully agree about Bartley

Weak ineffective midfield who do not appear to be able to pass water or make space to take the ball. Scared or couldn't care less defenders. Two of whom once looked ok in the prem and a striker who has never been confident he can score (probably with good reason). How are we expecting anything from this lot? about the only thing they are good at is giving the opposition the ball and tryimg to make them look good. It becomes more apparent every match that these players cannot or will not play the way the management team weant them to. The solution must be to play some of the others at any age who might just be able to do a better job. Please Mr Moore give em a go and save me from having to watch this dross from experienced players

Well said. All of our hopes are on Gayle to score enough to get us into the top six. Good news. Brunt off injured hamstring. Sam Field coming on.

Probably not the right thing to say but Brunt being injured probably strengthens the team. Come on Sam.

I think you're being harsh on Livermore.  He's dropping in and looking for the ball but Brunt is nowhere to be seen most of the time so ends up surrounded by Hull players.  What is he supposed to do there?  All he can do is lay it back to the defence and look for the ball again.  He's covered a lot of ground in midfield so far trying to get things moving.

Not sure 15 at the back would help this lot. What skills they may have had have long since been lost, and can't be covered by effort.

1-0 down, shocking defending as usual. Can't deal with pretty much any attacks in and around our box and awful when we have possession. Wheels are falling off without Gayle to paper over the cracks.

Yes agreed! Both him and Hegazi have made a few mistakes but are carrying the can for those around them
