We upped our game second half, and after subs we looked even more dominant. Yokuslu especially gives us more control. Johnson looks very useful. Has pace and carries the ball up the park. If we can keep up that level of performance we can stay in front whatever Hull, Norwich etc do.

Only in the second half. He runs them into the ground, making it easier for our subs.
Remember long (fast) and then we brought on Lukaku (clinical).
I wouldent be comparing assante to long

Very enjoyable! Second half we absolutely outclassed them. First half was an exercise in possession football and keeping it tight and second half we pressed, pushed and harried them and played some cracking football. Good atmosphere too. Chatted to a bloke thinking it was WBAinDevon and it wasn’t so that was an interesting chat!

Looking forward to work in the morning. The locals will all go back to supporting the top 4 premier teams. Not mentioning they were at the game tonight.
Great performance in the second half. Great turnout from the supporters. My brother in law (argyle fan in the home end) commented on the noise and different variations of song/chants, was impressive.
Great result

I so enjoyed that match ! Cracking performance from the fans who were there to go with an excellent 90 minutes. In fairness we could have doubled the score . So glad that Johnston ,and not Marshall, replace Wieman  . I would be having talks with Celtic in the summer to see if we can do a permanent deal .

Quite possible the worst opposition team performance i have seen this season.my first game for nearly 3 years, i might be tempted to come back if the new owner commits himself and shows willing. i must say the noise the fans made was terrific especially the third goal when i was outside the ground, i thought the home side had got one back. enjoyed the night well done Albion

Masterful performance. I thought defence and midfield were excellent and dominated an, albeit poor, Argyle team.
Just two things, why was Swift wearing gloves on a relatively warm night (because he doesn't run much?), and who decided to shut the M5 at Exeter?  :(
Great night

Great 2nd half but wretched opposition.

On thing about corners.  To paraphrase Einstein: Madness is trying the same thing again and again and expecting different results.  As we were without Bartley and Semi yesterday and their defence was tall it was fairly obvious that just sending the ball into the crowd wasn't working (the first goal was a scrappy exception).   Why isn't there some variation of corner routines?  Do we need a set piece coach?

Having spoken to My dad he agrees it was a good performance, his one criticism Is that all of our players or a lot of them were guilty of undercooking and overcooking passes almost like we were trying to take the mick to much. If I had to pick a MOTM I would say Mowatt, Wallace, Fellows or Johnston

A good professional performance, three goals and a clean sheet, with our away form we needed a convincing win and we got it.

First half it felt we were very casual, not sure if thats tactical or whether CC gives them a rollocking half time and we start playing second half, it happens a lot!

I thought Mowatt was superb, he drove us forward with his runs and his passes were a lot more positive instead of side to side, its good we have options on the wing too, second half it was relentless.

Sets up saturday nicely, would take a point but if we won what a confident boost that would be!

I think set pieces fall under the remit of Damia Abella, but I could be wrong. I do think we need to be a big threat from them, though.

One thing I noticed around Christmas time is we would have Mowatt taking an outswinging corner, but the player coming short would be Diangana, who is also left footed. I always felt it narrowed the angles available once taken.

We currently recruiting for a First Team Performance Analyst so hopefully there's scope to add a specialist set pieces analyst/coach too

A massive win.

Three goals a clean sheet. The subs making big impact once again.

If we can navigate the next two games which are going to be very tough. We will be in a nice position for the final run in.

This.  If we only have Kipre and Furlong who are recognised good headers, what are the odds of scoring from high balls into the box? And if Furlong is taking long throw ins, that leaves just Kipre.  When we don't have the likes of especially Bartley, we need to vary it more, with short corners etc. Although I notice a lot of the old school, (including Andy Johnson) think its sacrilege not to get it first time into the box.

We had seven corners last night from five different players. Mowatt 2, Fellows 2, Swift, Chalobah and Furlong one each. There's your variety  ;D .
