Wouldn't have minded Bree as competition for Furlong.

Ah well!

That 5m quid would have come in handy. Bargain at 750k

Yes please if at all remotely possible.......... checks back of settee to begin the whip round while noting it's a red top rumour. Suddenly looks saddened and forlorn as he makes his way to the bog to rid himself of the rumour.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Well, that's another one we chalk off the list.

Alex (I think) won't be happy.

I mentioned these exact players as players we should go for on the incoming tat thread , as neither had played a lot since their moves.

I cannot believe how average players from other clubs go for massive, when ours rarely do.

Furthermore, we think our academy is great because of the youth England Internationals we have, but they rarely progress and apart from bera never make much from them, unlike the likes of Bristol City and their conveyor belt.

I really hope Stevens can change this quickly.

Toffolo off to Anderlecht according to O Rourke

Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo is in talks to join Anderlecht after turning down a potential loan move to Hull City. #NFFC #hcafc #Anderlecht

Now he's got a pre-agreement sorted hopefully he slacks off a bit.

Romano:

Ben Brereton Díaz has full agreement to join Villarreal in June as free agent — deal sealed and completed. 🚨🟡🤝🏻 #Villarreal

Premier League clubs were tracking him too but Brereton will join Villarreal.

Got to say I'm starting to feel pessimistic about this everything always takes an age with the Albion.

Seems to me our academy was good at spotting people already developed, very poor at developing them. Basically none of our players progress as they get older, it's remarkable. Even the ones who leave and go elsewhere are basically the same player they were as a teenager as they get more experience.

One of the reasons I wasn't too sad when hopcroft etc left.....who did they actually develop of quality? Berahinois the only player we produced good enough for the premier in 15 years. In terms of good enough for the championship it's a short list also. The goal of the academy is not developing england under 16s.

I guess they are just signing enough players to see them over the line at this point. I think Obafemi is signing number 3 or 4 for them this window.

Once bitten twice shy. No club's that stupid (unfortunately), not even Stoke would take Zohore on loan twice  ;D .
