Looks like there is a protest planned from the Bolton fans in this one. Apparently they feel it is an opportunity in front of the sky cameras to voice their discontent

Can't say that I blame them to be fair.

Looks like Bolton's offer for HSTHs to bring a friend for free could seriously backfire.

It's too early to name a team for this game. We have no idea if anyone will leave or come in for a start so I'll refrain from picking my team for now. What I will say is:


      Holgate               Dawson                     Hegazi                    Gibbs

                                               Barry

      Gayle (left or right depending)


These six are absolutely critical to us. I wouldn't swap any one of them for anyone else in this division. You could add Phillips to that list but what's going on with him is anyone's guess and whether he should now play further forward in the Barnes role is another relevant question.

The others are all replaceable potentially. Don't get me wrong I don't expect to see four or five players coming in upgrading on the existing players we have and I don't expect a mass exodus either, just making a point.

I'll pick my team much nearer to the game.

Is there anymore tickets available for this ? The one block has sold out but here no more blocks on sale on the website ? Seems odd that they haven’t released more seats

We have been selling seats in block FU1 , bought a couple on Saturday , don't know why the club haven't released them on the ticket site though.

Good as WM only put Villa and Blues on FM and you have to be in the Black Country to get DAB so radio WM ignore us usually :-X

Not reffed us this season. Although he's listed as being from Lancashire he's reffed Preston, Bolton, Wigan and Blackburn this season. Last season he reffed games involving Accrington, Bury, Oldham and Fleetwood as well as the others......must be from Chorley!

Weird that some sites have him from County Durham (which seems the most likely given his love of Sunderland) and some say he's from Lancashire!

If Holgate can continue to play as he did in his first 2 games then I would hate to be the LB playing against him and Phillips in that formation. Our right wing has the ability to go past anyone in the division and if they don't will likely put an excellent ball in. Jonathan Grounds is the usual Bolton LB but he is poor and can't get into the Blues team, DM should target him and get the ball down the right as often as possible. All depends on Phillips fitness though I suppose

Yep,
I would go with that. If Phillips not fit, then go with Edwards or Sako. HRK has had his good game for the season.
Still leaves us nowt off the bench though and highlights how much we need to strengthen.
