Hope he recovers.

He used to lodge round the corner from me in Hallam street west Brom for a while when he was with us in the late 80s.

The Vile nicked him off us after only a few games or so, luckily we had a decent sell on clause in the deal. I think we got about £3mill back from them when they flogged him to Boro at a time when we were properly hard up. Seem to recall Deadly Doug offered to buy out the clause for about £1Mill leading up to the sale.

What a shocker! It just goes to show it can happen to you at any time even if you're fit as a fiddle

Absolutely shocked! Can't believe it, as he was still fit and active as coach with Spurs - and only 44.
Another one of those players with talent we let go in that period of 'selling'...RIP Ugo.

Truly sad. Another one we missed out on through poor management, glad he went on to have a good career.

I remember the first time he made the squad and the stadium announcer attempted to read his name out (not very successfully) and the crowd looking at each other thinking "who". Came on did ok for a skinny little kid though.

Can't remember who it was against though, can anyone help?

Shocking testament to how fragile life can be.

Enjoy it while you can.

Condolences to friends and family.

R.I.P Ugo Ehiogu.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

I sincerely hope that our club was represented at his funeral today.
Have the club said anything?
