I have to question what we do in training. The players look like they’ve only just met. Very slow and lethargic. We have no plan B either.

A very strange signing IMO. Zero first team experience so was never going to hit the ground running. I just hope that we are not paying for him. I wonder had Cleary been fit would we have given him a chance instead?

Palmer is a decent keeper IMO. Yes there have been a few goals that he should have done better with, Saturdays for example, but the same can be said for most keepers. He has a much greater presence than SJ ever had and you can see that in the way our defiance has improved since him coming into the side.

Players out of contract in the summer. Who do we keep?

Regardless of division or whether they are willing to re-sign on reduced terms I'd be looking to keep Kipre and potentially Mowett. Cann I don't know enough about but the rest need to go for me.

I do suspect that we'll offer deals to Bartley, Phillips and Reach.

Mowatt

Kipre

Reach

Phillips

Bartley

Chalobah

Pieters

Kelly

Cann

M'Vila

A great pedigree but the fact that he's not played this season is worrying. I don't expect we'll see much of him unless he's kept himself in top condition.

After missing out on the play offs by a whisker last season it amazes me why people thought that we'd struggle this season. I expected a top 10 finish, play-offs at a push which is where we are. Corberan is doing a fine job but I don't believe that he's the only manager that could get a tune out of us.

Results not really gone for us today. Unless our away form improves I fear we will slip out of the top 6.

I thought Keiffer Moore played well on Saturday, he certainly occupied our centre halves, did make Ipswich a bit one dimensional though. There is a case for big strapping forwards, but not if that becomes the be all and end all (a la Pulis)

He's exactly the type of forward we need IMO. The ball just doesn't stick with BTA up top.

All on Furlong that. Dreadful positioning.

I thought we made Ipswich look very poor when we beat them. Can’t see beyond a home win though today given our away form.

Do we not have a youngster that can ‘cover’?

I think his hold up play needs a lot of improvement and for a big guy he gets outmuscled too easily. Get balls into the box though and he will score goals. Here’s hoping for an injury free run.

I think the signs are good, clearly the youth department is doing a very good job of finding and nurturing young talented individuals. If we can just get the club ownership sorted and some strategy in place to actually use it to our own advantage then it could be a very fruitful avenue in the coming seasons.

For me it's all about having a coach brave enough to throw them into the side. Fellows for example looks a real talent but he won't start again unless Wallace is unavailable IMO.

I don't think that CC had any intention of picking him regardless. He really should have gone out last summer ideally to a lower Champ side.

Caleb Taylor to Bolton seems pointless

Another example of CC not trusting the youngsters. Fellows won't get many starts whilst Wallace is fit. Also is Mikey Johnston going to offer any more than Malcolm would?

No
For me he stays and plays
Sell or release Bartley & Pieters (and I like both) to free off the salary
Keep Semi,Kipre,Taylor and the lad from Villa …
Taylor doesn’t gain from going out now .

I agree with this but Taylor won't start a game here this season IMO. CC prefers experience.

Don't forget we also have Kelly on the books still.

Boro only paid 1m for him apparently. Great deal for them even after the 25% sell on taken away.

Villa trying to buy everything we built thanks to Lai's ability to destroy everything he didn't build.

Just the kind of signing we need to make. I very much doubt we'd have been back in for him even if we had some money available at the time.

Looks like Reach was subbed because of injury against Norwich and not the fact that he was utter garbage.

I'm usually quite pessimistic when it comes to us but I'm quite relaxed about this game. I certainly don't see us getting hammered. It will be a close one IMO. My heart fancies us to win but my head thinks a narrow dingles win. 1-2. They certainly have more to lose than we do.

I'm a big fan but he looks very slow and laboured at times. I agree with Balis that if we could get the right deal then we should let him go. We need young energetic players.
