Cant believe you havent got burke in the 18

he went down a few times and got treatment towards the end of the Luton game holding his ankle, might just have strained it but it might be more serious. Would rather we didn't risk an injured player (if he has an injury)

Very much doubt the Luton game will have impacted Moore's immediate plan A, agree with Atomic's post in that respect and the line-up he expects.

Were it me I'd be looking to make a couple of changes:

subs: Myhill, Bartley/Dawson, Townsend, Livermore, Burke, Rodriguez, Edwards.

I'd be tempted to swap Brunt for Livermore. Livermore is at least a central midfielder and I think he would benefit from having the energy of Harper next to him.....also he has been playing better than Brunt (in my opinion of course!)which isn't saying much I know; as they have both been pretty awful.

I think its obvious from the team selection vs Luton what the team is going to be:

                                  Johnstone

Nyom              Bartley                  Hegazi                Gibbs (if not fit Townsend)

                      Livermore              Brunt

Phillips                                                                  Barnes

                             Rodriguez

                                   Gayle

That's how we'll line up.

I think you're spot on with that prediction.

Yep think that will be what we see.
Hope Townsend gets the nod over Gibbs and would prefer to see Liverrunt broken up, but don't see it.
Not complaining though, it's a winning team that scored 4 so fair play.
I won't be backing 0-0.

Confident about this one as QPR appear to be in poor form.

3-0 to the baggies for me, Gayle to get a Brace and a headed goal from Tosin  ;D

Clean sheet for the Johnstone would be nice to settle him, he's looked a bit nervous at times.

I just want a win,I'm not very good at guessing the scores.
But I must say that Dave and Jonesy are going along nicely with their work so far, nice and steady, thoughtful and getting results.
Also beginning to reduce the average age of the team,it must have come down with Foster leaving oh but gone up again with mozza

Just wondered if anyone's seen QPR play yet and has any idea what we're likely to be up against?

Go on I'll bite, why do we NEED to win this one?

I would say because we don't want to be playing catch up and because qpr have zero points, we should be beating teams like this.

As the season goes on we will pick up injuries and this could ultimately cost us points, so pick up points as early as possible while we still have a full squad.

Plus we've won two in a row, would be good to keep the streak going and boost confidence.

I've got this sort of odd twitchy restless feeling and I'm guessing its the start of actually looking forward to upcoming games because I'm definitely looking forward to this one and even very hopeful of a more than decent result!
This is what it used to be like in the old days in my youth  :D ;D

They've got a lad called Eze. Looks a prospect. Keep him quiet and we win imo.

I remember one of the last times we played these, Lescott made Zamora look like Ronaldo.........

Hope we fare better this time around!

The 3412 might be something for Moore to think about going forwards but I can't see him using it in the league yet. Townsend has done enough to warrant a start IMO, right back is still a big problem, running out of time to have one in place for this game.

Brunt and Livermore got better in the 2nd half against Norwich but I'd still prefer to see Sam Field in there somehow. I'd imagine it will be this though:

Johnstone
Nyom Bartley Hegazi Townsend
Livermore Brunt
Phillips Barnes JRod
Gayle
"You'll never get past Claudio"

I'd go 3-5-2

Johnstone

Adarabiyio
Bartley
Hegazi

Phillips
Livermore
Morrison
Brunt
Townsend

Rodriguez
Gayle

Subs: Myhill, Dawson (if fit), Gibbs (if fit), Edwards, Burke, Field, Robson-Kanu

Think you're literally the ONLY Albion fan that has suggested leaving out Barnes. I'm guessing it's an oversight?

I suspect that Moore will go with the same 11 as last week seeing as it got him his first win. He could possibly drop Nyom for the City kid as he played poorly, but other than that it could be unchanged. Townsend may possibly start too if Gibbs is injured.
Personally I would remove one of Brunt/Livermore but other than that I think the rest of the team deserve starts.

They have all sorts of problems and the threat of administration is still hanging so should dispatch them if we get at them early doors.
2-0 Gayle, Phillips

Bolton were in a mess too...

I think we have found form and momentum. Still need to sort out our issues at the back and in the middle of park- whilst I enjoy reminiscing total football Tony Mowbray we will score more than you mantra- we're not good enough for that to work.

If nyom deal goes through does that mean we will set up like the other night I wonder?
O Albion we love you

Like to think he'd go with back three and wingbacks, Tuesday night should of given him food for thought with regards to midfield. Brunt and HRK should not be in starting line up, I'd give Jimmy and Livermore a chance.

With Nyom half out of the door I suspect that Moore might work with  back 3

Yes, the Nyom situation changes everything. The only change I'd make to your team is Field for Adarabioyo. Field is a better player and he's better on the ball than Tosin. We will need that against QPR I excpect we will have quite a bit of possession.

I don't like Brunt in CM but if Field plays at the back who else do we play there? Morrison played the other night so I don't think he'll play and Harper is decent enough but I'm not sure his vision is great in a creative sense.
