Do they stop selling tickets online this close to the game? Can't find any on the website?
Will there be some for sale on the gate?

No tv links, but BBC Radio WM which you can get online.

Think you can only get the WM live Commentary if you live in the West Mids.
I’m in Staffordshire Moorlands and can’t get it.

I've got the same problem. Is there anywhere else we can find commentary?

Always wondered why I don't watch match of the day, analyse after game a joke.

I thought the discussion on the man United title challenge was enlightening and we'll informed....

all the clothing is stupidly priced.....i had a look on ebay the other week trying to find a cheap albion top managed to get an old yellow/blue away kit (92/93 maybe?) top, shorts (very short shorts) and socks all for 99p! also managed to get the 91/92 top for £5. both look better than any of the modern too!

and some might call it boring, un-entertaining, and a waste of money

i'll take a 0-0 at everton. if we went gungho in this game i doubt we'd still be drawing.

Born in the black country but moved to london 3years ago. Watch most the games in the albion on goldsmiths row. Was quite a shock walking down a road in Hackney and seeing a huge WBA badge staring back at me

No. we're not

so you rather wouldve been in the championship, or maybe lower, for the past 5 years as long as our non commercial profits were up and we had an extra 1000 fans?

I don't need to make stats fit my argument VVV,

Was non tv turnover higher in 2002 than in 2012? yes or no will do

and if you want me to, we can take every club that has been in the Premier league since 2003, add up their average attendances to date and compare that against there historical attendance, would you like me to do that VVV?
you know, just to be accurate.

The simplest question is overall as a club are we in a better position than when JP first took over?

5 years of premiership football.....no complaints from me.

General Football & Sports / Re: Alan Irvine sacked by Albion
« on: July 09, 2014, 01:09:09 PM »
Roy instilled good habits into our players through his coaching and experience, that was already in the players heads when Clarke came in. He then proceded to instill his doctrine into the players different coach different methods. Roys worked Clarkes didn't.
Same as Moyes and Fergie. Pochettino carried on from where Adkins left off.

Clarke got us higher than Hodgson ever did. As a young supporter Clarke gave me my best season as an albion fan but for some reason it seems people just want to forget it ever happened and slag the bloke off.

anyway back to Irvine....will be interesting to hear the reaction of the fans when they announce him on the first game

How many more times.Clarke came in on the crest of Roys wave, his surf went flat in the november and with the help of Lukaku and the rubbish below us we finished at the lofty height of 8th.
How many games from  November 2012 up to May 2013 did we win.The trend continued and he got sacked 6 months later.Irvine dont have the umph from the previous coach that Clarke had. We will see but my bet is Irvine will be gone by xmas

I find it crazy how many of our fans give Steve Clarke no credit whatsoever for our highest ever premiership finish. when we finished 8th that season did everybody say it was down to RH? If anyone else can remember please tell me....

By your logic it wasnt Moyes that failed at Old Trafford he just inherited a bad team from fergie, Pochettinos good work at soton was down to adkins. for the first 6months (when we were actually playing well and getting points) Lukaku was on the bench and Clarke was probably a major reason why we got Lukaku in the first place down to his chelsea connections.

.     The club made a mistake in the first place appointing Clarke and an even bigger one not sacking him at the end of last season . Malky will be just as disastrous

So after leading us to our highest premiership finish ever he should be sacked?

Hopefully the reports of Moyes being interested in speaking to us are true.

Be a big big coup for us. I find it hard not get my hopes up..

What reports are these?

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Back Pepe Mel
« on: April 24, 2014, 04:18:39 PM »
as most of you arware i was completely the opposite with Steve Clarke and i knew it wouldnt work with him, so i was proved right on that one.If Mel does leave us i will be disappointed indeed because we have the start of something special here.
I just hope JP doesnt go for the Steve Clarke boring negative cheap option again, there are plenty of them out there which is what worries me

so a manager who led us to our highest ever premiership finish is rubbish yet a manager who has struggled since joining is Corberan?

Im in two minds about Mel. I love him as a bloke but I think this is blinding so many fans of his flaws such as his defensive set up, our inability to hang on to leads and the lack of authority to deal with the player/coach power struggle.
On the other I want to see passing football which hopefully Mel will bring.
Will he be here next year? I dont know but I trust JP 100% and will continue to support whoever is in charge.

With the price at £56 I dont even get a choice whether I can go or not. Just simply no way I could afford it.  Really quite sad.

Sent Man City an email complaining. Don't know whether it'll do anything but something needs to done!
