Yes, I mean recently.

The Norwich game was also only their second game of the season (our 3rd) and long before they hit their rich vein of form.

We have recently beaten Stoke who were in the premier league with us last season and also Villa, not sure either of those are really lesser teams. Depends on what you mean by "lesser" I guess.

The position in the table defines lesser.  They are middle or lower table teams.  In fact both teams have probably got more chance of being relegated than promoted !!

Then all but 3 are "lesser" teams?
Very positive stat that.

Put WM on along side and listen to Bomber scream when the goals go in.
Not sure if there's a delay on the radio.

The very fact that, only 3 teams are not "lesser" and 20 are, suggests we are doing pretty well.

you said that Villa and Stoke were lesser teams due to their league position so therefore all teams below us are lesser teams.

I also said that they are lesser because they are middle or lower league placed teams.  I don't class the top 8 in that category !!!!

so you are classing 16 teams as lesser than us then due to league position. It's pointless then saying that we have only beaten lesser teams since 2/3 of the league are lesser teams by your own definition.

Sitting here looking at a computer screen wondering what rocket science and teams further down the table have got to do with our match against Leeds. I'm sure it'll come to me in a minute. Anyway, huge game and I've succumbed to temptation and will be in attendance for this one having chosen it over going to QPR. Come on Albion, please make it worth my while with three much needed points on Friday.

Must win.

Don't want to see Livermore at all or Rodriguez marginalising Gayle, who we now need to build this big promotion push around for the last 12 games. Would love to see Brunt and Morrison return to the squad for the final push.

I fully support any player that an Albion manager selects to play; no exceptions. However if we really have to rely on Brunt and Morrison for the final push I dread the outcome.
I think the fact that we have a full week to prepare whereas they don't should work to our advantage. Need to get a result if we possibly can. If not you do start to feel that automatic has gone.

If we have any realistic hopes of automatic promotion, we need to go there and win. Nothing less.

If the beat QPR, then that will see them 7 points and Norwich 6 points ahead, with 12 games left, and us doing poorly at home.

Think it'll be the play-offs lads.

Heading up on the coach! Assuming we arrive on time/no traffic problems, where is best to pitch up for a drink near the ground are we thinking?

the Old Peacock on Elland Road is opposite the ground, don't know if it's home fans only on a match day though. It also has an Indian restaurant attached called Spiced Mango.

It's been a while since I've been to Elland Road but from memory the Old Peacock was home supporters only. Having just looked on Google Maps we ended up using a place called The Drysalters which is about ten minutes or so further down the road from Elland Road. They allowed both home and away supporters on the day and had big screens for the football. Wasn't a bad place to be fair and the service was decent.

With our away form, and Leeds having to play on the Tuesday and then the Friday night, I am more confident than I usually would be, but this is probably our last chance if we are going to challenge the top 2.

I’ve felt for a while that we don’t really stand a chance of catching the top 2, but we keep the fight alive with a win on Friday, especially if they lose on Tuesday as well,

I agree. However, I think  Norwich and Sheffield United are the ones to catch.  Leeds struggled against Bolton on saturday and only won with a lucky goal which the Bolton keeper should have dealt with. That's why our result ( and performance) on Saturday was so disappointing. That was our chance to take control of this league and push on.

If we turn up on Friday we should win. We have probably got tougher matches to come Bristol City away and Birmingham at home could be tougher than the Leeds trip.
