that sound exactly like something he would say, and something he would do if it lines up with his drinking schedule.

Not sure if it's been seen before or is a new episode but Foster said Allan Nyom called Alan Pardew "a 5hit person and a 5hit manager" to his face after taxi gate  ;D

It's quite a shame really. He was 14 when he left, so hardly his fault and was probably tapped up for at least 1 year prior. If he saved his money then he'd be ok from the Watford deal though.

Can't agree, I hate the modern football rape of clubs academies and all involved in it. I laugh at the results of their greed

He'd have been 13/14 years old at the time and supported Arsenal. He had no loyalty to the club. If I were in his shoes, I'd have done the same thing.

As for the way football academies are structured, they are structured badly but that isn't his fault either. He was paid £20,000 per week at Watford for 5 years, I think he'll be ok.

I've met one of his parents. One parent advised him to stay with us and develop his career. The other advised him to develop his bank account, make sound investments and secure his future in the event of not making it to the very top.

Following on from a little early extravagance I'm told he's made some very sound financial decisions. Laugh all you like, you'll have done very well financially to be more than a few thousand behind him. 26, pretty minted with the rest of his life ahead of him. 'Where did it all go wrong Jerome?'.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Old pal Pereira has been left out of Al-Hilal squad for the upcoming match at least for non-sporting reasons apparently.

The fans there seem to hate him on Twitter. Wonder what's gone on there.

Pereira again

"Zach Lowy
@ZachLowy
Ex-West Brom talent Matheus Pereira is pushing to leave Al Hilal due to three months of unpaid salaries.

Pereira has been left out of the matchday squad for the past two games and he has publicly stated that he wants to leave the Saudi club."

Always thought FIFA rules meant after three months without pay a player could walk away from the contract.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke. Still he's made plenty even if he ain't been paid for 3 months.

I think I did (which would make sense as it’s what I believe to be the case). Was it related to Wigan?

Google suggests it’s true. Seems to state after 3 months a player can give 14 days notice of their intention to cancel the contract if moneys due are not paid.

Yes! Wigan, that was it!

Wonder why he is delaying then? He won't get paid the same amount anywhere else i guess yet the report says he wants OUT

No idea. A less desirable player, or outside a registration window you could see why they might be reluctant, but Perieria could do it today and sign elsewhere in the window no problem provided the club didn’t cough up

jurisdiction ? FIFA / EUFA / Premier League / FA ?, might be different rules depending upon where the club is

checked and found this from 2018

Based on its decision at the conference in March in Bogota, Columbia, FIFA announced that if a club unlawfully fails to pay a player two monthly salaries on their due dates, he/she is deemed to have the just cause to terminate his or her contract. If a player is not paid on a monthly basis, the pro-rata value corresponding to two months of salaries shall also be considered.

Besides, the player in such a case does not need to take the dispute to any arbitration body or disciplinary commission. The football associations he/she belongs to must announce without condition that the player is a free agent with the right to terminate his/her contract and join other clubs. The club that unlawfully fails to pay the player has to be punished correspondingly by the football association it belongs to.

So MP asks the Saudi League to announce he is a free agent and his club has to release his registration and he can go where he wants.
