Could well be on his way out. Roy seems to have his fave's and wont seem to change. Look at Dozza, a class player but gets one or two sub appearances here and there. Same with Tchoyi. I hope he doesn't go.

I'll be sorry to see him go.  Last season he was causing all sorts of problems for opposition defences and sure, he is a bit hit and miss but he's not easy for the opposition to play against.

Personally, I think he's too unpredictable for Roy, Roy seems to like his players to stick to rigid roles.  If Tchoyi leaves we just don't have anyone that we can throw on to offer us something different.  Cox isn't good enough.  Bednar shouldn't be near the first team.  MAF can't finish to save his life.  We'd basically have two strikers on the books, Pete and Long.

How is Dorrans one of his favourites ? if he was he would be starting more games, if he was starting more games then maybe just maybe he may be able to offer more than he can coming on for the odd 10/15 minutes here and there (wow he got about 22 today).

That comment is one of the funniest i've seen on this forum. Your Dorrans hatred is shocking, did he pinch your dinner money or something.

I think Fortune did better than him last week in the cup so got a place on the bench at his expense. I'm always disappointed when Tchoyi is not on the bench, it's always useful to have him as an option and he's the type of player who can generate a bit of excitement like Long did today.

was it not a swing and miss from mulumbu?! more and more posts on this board are infuriating me!! been visiting for years and posting for a while but its getting less and less frequent!

to you're point, i agree, causes utter chaos and should be used more, much rather see him come on ahead of MAF

Sad an perplexing to see Tchoyi so frozen out, he adds a spark we've been often lacking this season, will beat a man AND get a ball in the box and scores too.

I think he is on his way out, I like him as he has scored some good goals for us and he will cause teams a lot of problems.

I think he's probably on the move, if not now, more than quite likely in the summer should Roy stay.  Having said that, we can't be totally sure, but he does appear to be being frozen out a bit.

I'll be disappointed to see him go myself as he's one of the few players we have who can get me excited.  Personally I'd rather see him on the field than some of the players who run around all day, but lack any real flare at all.

Still, I don't think he's strictly Roy's cup of tea, Roy perhaps prefers your more regimented, robotic, bread and butter type of player.

I'll be sad to see him go if he is leaving, for me it's one less bit of spark and entertainment to look forward to at the Albion right now.

Tchoyi's continued omission from Hodgson's sides sums up wy I find it hard to enjoy Roy Hodgsons Albion.

With his tactics already stifling any enjoyable or charismatic football at the Hawthorns, he then does not bother to use one of the only players you can guarantee wont be strangled by Hodgsons tactical demands.

We would be kidding ourselves if we said this bloke was a world beater or a regular starter and when he comes on it is impossible to predict if he will be good or bad but the key is that unpredictability coming of the bench has to be a reason give him a chance when 1-0 down or drawing against a team you target as one to take 3 points.

If Hodgson isnt prepared to take any gambles then he really needs to find the perfect mix straight away an for a long time now he hasnt been able to. Ity's not good enough Roy.
