Good performance overall, had our chances and kept them quiet.

Happy with that.

Thought we were decent today and kept an inform Leeds in check.

If only we’d turned 5 of the draws into wins we’d be challenging.

Fair result overall, we were better 1st half, they were better 2nd.

Absolutely nothing to fear in this division, we need to be more consistent though.

Wildsmith needs dropping for me. His kicking is beyond bad and his decision making worries me too.

Apart from Heggem the entire back 5 was awful first 10-15 mins but did ok in the end.

Price did well, not a winger but he seems one of those players who can play most positions and give you a 6/10 performance at least.

Molumby was quiet by his efforts but ok, Mowatt struggles against athletic teams for me.

Dike put himself and seems to be coming through games ok which is a good sign. Build him game by game.

Swift did ok overall but should have done better with his shot early doors.

A point at Elland road is almost always good so take it and move on.

Mention to the ref who was actually really competent for a change.

Great effort by our boys. I finally got to watch the stream thanks to some great help from @thebaggieman. Thanks for that mate!

It was clear to see that Leeds have the better players but I thought we matched them well and fought hard to try and win the game. Johnston was great when he was on and I thought Styles was very impressive. If we play like this against QPR we should win.

Very good performance against a strong team who have been on fire recently.

Still don’t understand why Fellows is so highly rated, if he is to perform in the premier league he needs to improve physically.
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

With that counter break at the end with the chance for Fellows, I wonder how it would have ended with Grant or Dike on the end of it. Tom just wasn’t quick enough and had a not so great touch.

His 11 assists might have something to do with it…

Excellent result and thought we played well overall today. Price looks a very good signing

If Tom had just got up instead of looking around on ground then the ball from Dikes challenge may have fell for him but not to be.

Good all round performance and we matched Leeds for most of the game, where they have a very good record at home. We could have won it at the end if Fellows had got his first touch right. Some excellent defending although I think we are missing Palmer's solidity. Johnston looked a real menace down the left. Swift made us more fluent through midfield, and was unlucky with his shot. If our passing was less sloppy we would have as good as any team in the division.

He has done well, however in my opinion he would not hold a starting place in any premier league team at present.

I watched Leeds v Sunderland and Sheff Utd and tbh I thought we would be well beaten. However, we proved we can go ‘toe to toe” with the best. I thought that Leeds pressure was due to us giving the ball away so many times in our own half. We created our own pressure rather than Leeds tearing us apart. Apart from his goal I thought Furlong was particularly guilty of giving the ball away, as was Heggem and Styles but we recovered to block shots or Leeds missed the target.

On the positive side when we attacked we looked as though we could score ( not often in the second half) and Fellows chance at the end was a clear opportunity but his touch was poor.

Overall a great point, we had shape, we looked to win and we nullified the best team in the league. Well done to ToMo and the team.

Post match comments (taken from @WBAREPORT)

“I thought we showed what we were about today.

“The longer the game went on, we got braver with the ball and we gave them some problems.

“Happy enough to take the point. On another day, Tom could’ve ran through and scored and we could’ve got a win.

“We know we can compete with the best teams in this division, home or away, and that’s what they have to believe every game.

“When the other games come along, we should only be looking for three points.

“We have to get that mentality to be West Bromwich Albion. This is what we do, this is how we play, and we expect to win.”

What a refreshing change.

I only got to watch the last 10 minutes

Fellows should have done better with his chance ,Goodman said if it was one of the faster players we would have scored,I disagree he is more than capable it was just a bad touch …followed by their defender handballing but we would never get that
Diangana did what I expect ,got easily bounced of the ball and dangled an occasional foot rather than actually trying to win the ball …I think it’s disgraceful he gets on the pitch .
Dike has now come on 3 occasions …this is really good management of him, keep getting him on and upping the minutes rather than rushing it .

Most would have taken the drawer …Beat QpR and Burnley and it’s a very very good point .
If youre going to get told off, get told off for doing something not for doing nothing..

I agree on fellows, I think his assist stats are clearly great this season but for me they belie the ability I see. I hope I am wrong and It won’t be a popular opinion because he’s one of our own but I don’t see a player who willl have any sort of impact in the prem over his career (or much by way of appearances).  On that basis if we can get £10m, £15m or better still have to help us financially and with FFP next year, I take it

A really enjoyable game, we were good value for the point.

For the first 10 minutes the defence was all over the place culminating in their goal.
Swift should have, at least, got his effort on target and he was guilty along with Styles, Heggem and Furlong of giving the ball away cheaply.
Thought Styles generally  coped well with James though.
We still aren't really  creating much of anything for Armstrong.
Was hoping that Mowbray would bring on Dike for Swift and play Armstrong behind him.

Thought we played really well against the best side in the division. Deserved the draw overall and a much better result and performance than what I was expecting. Had to soak up a bit of pressure in the last 15 or 20 minutes and there were a few weary legs towards the end, but every one of the starting eleven gave their all for the cause. Only down points for me were that I thought their goal was a really poor one to concede, with Bartley losing his man and Wildsmith coming for a ball he had no chance of getting, leaving him in no mans land + Diangana, Grant and Dike (who I will forgive given he is still getting up to speed) offering nothing when coming on as subs.

My opinion as well, good but not quite good enough.
Sad to say, cash in and move on.

Glad almost everyone thought we had a good game and deserved a point. The minority would say that Leeds were quicker and more incisive moving the ball around, much quicker to close us down (which is probably why we were forced into so many rushed, inaccurate passes) and had they not spurned so many good chances would have won easily.
Did the ref forget to pack his yellow card?
