“It works on the following principles: Five yellows accumulated before match 19 results in a one-match ban. Ten yellows accumulated by match 32 will result in a two-match ban. 15 by game 38 brings a 3-match ban.”

Thanks for clarifying Ttree

We deserved to win overall. Agree with most of the other comments about who was particularly good, but a shout out to Mikey, who was involved in both goals and was generally excellent first half.

That was very inconsiderate of them. I hope you had words. You didn't miss much, we saw out the match fairly competently.

A very welcome 3 points. Thought we started really Welland aged some good stuff...Johnston almost back to his old self. After the second goal I was willing us on to really put Hull to the sword.
I thought that Grant was fouled in the build up to the Hull goal but I haven't seen any highlights yet to see if it was.
Second half we were very sloppy at times and the midfield was getting overrun.
Time to drop Fellows as he doesn't contribute anything anymore and he's about as good defensively as Diangana.
Cole needs to be the change for Maja as it'd still give us a focal point up front.
3 points is the most important thing though.

Arguably played the best side available to him and the best front 4 we have and that people have been calling for. Johnston marginally better but still not on form but a run of games perhaps he will find it. Fellows also not great however having him and MJ on pitch creates space for Grant and Maja because they get doubled up on.

Back for were decent Heggem excellent if only that acrobatic effort went in. For me Furlong man of the match he won everything and didn't stop running. Palmer also did well and came and took crosses to ease pressure.

However we are 2-0 up and we sat off if we had carried on we could have got the third or fourth and killed it off and made our lives easier. Also Carlos subs again made us sit further and further back. I feel like every change he makes we look worse. I have a suggestion to Mr Corberan which is play your best team and give them 90 as and when you can.

Important win but still concerned at lack of goals. Still only 1 win in 9. Hopefully we can build on today
O Albion we love you

It's a poor suggestion to be honest. There are a lot of games in a Championship season. Corberan is managing the squad, not overloading some of our most important players, and keeping others involved, which is good management in my eyes.

A win is a win and in the context of being away from home and having 2 days less to rest, it's a good win.

The selection today was intended to get Grant in behind Maja when he dropped deep. You could argue that our fast start was in part down to that however the flip side was how badly we kept possession for the rest of the game; that could be down to game state but also could be because we lacked that link player.

A good win but not sure we have answered any questions today regards the best formatting of the side.

Interesting reading CCs thoughts on the quick turn around . Reading between the lines he wasn’t a happy bunny and they had done very little if any of the usual pre game prep !

Liked the 2 upfront, we looked a lot more capable, should have easily been 3/4 by halftime.

Second half was very much what we’ve seen the last 7 games, mistakes, indecision and generally poor play.

I think Corberan is struggling to find the right balance and the defensive injuries have made him very cautious.

We also have a few players right off the boil at the moment so hopefully the break will help them find their feet again.

Given how little points we’ve picked up we are still in the hunt as nobody is putting in consistent wins for a change.

Grant was shoved in the back after Palmers punch out. No free kick was given, but Grant remonstrated to the referee instead of attempting to stop the cross.

Cheers for confirming that it was a foul on Grant in the build up, I was surprised when the ref didn't give anything.
A strange performance from the ref he was giving soft fouls but missed a lot of obvious ones and should have booked a couple of Hull players and I still can't understand why Styles was booked.

Diakite made a very important clearing header getting in front of their scorer, I think.  He looks more mobile than some of the other subs.  Can we expect him to come on earlier in the near term?

That's how I saw it, left the proverbial "acres of space" to pick the cross.  Juggable offence.
