No one is skipping past anyone from inside our half no matter who it is to be fair
A midfield of Racic swift and mowatt is so slow.
Boro have 3 or 4 mobile midfielders comfortable on the ball

How CC arrived at those 3 being first choice together I'll never know

Back to back defeats for Carlos. When will he realise that attack is the best form of defence?

Mikey Johnston was absolutely terrible in that cameo. Made Grant look like a world beater.

Very poor result albeit against a decent side. 2 really bad results on the spin.

Frustrating.  We're better than that.  Perfect example is Ajayi and Molumby can't get passes out of their feet so we could cross the ball with seconds remaining.  We don't seem to have players who think that extra pass ahead - like Ajayi gave it to Molumby who was immediately closed down and could only play it backwards.  Not what you want with seconds to go.

Then we have a throw in, Mowatt gets it in ACRES of space, crosses it early and can't beat the first man.

Quality not there tonight.

Unacceptable performance after Saturday’s unacceptable performance.

The Millwall game becomes very important all of a sudden, even at this early stage, got to buck this slump before it sets in

Beaten by a side that played better on the night. No complaints from me. Middlesbrough defend very well and looked more dangerous coming forwards.

Poor all round performance tonight . Beaten by the better team . The mid field attacking 3 of Wallace , Swift and Grant didn’t work . Time for 3 changes there for the next match . Almost looked like we hadn’t forgotten all the good things we were doing in the opening few games .

Very disappointing and I agree with Baggie79’s point that now there is licence to pick the best 11 as we no longer have to “keep a winning team.”

Swift, Racic, Wallace all major dudds tonight. Johnston not great when coming on but he needs time and starts I reckon.

After a good start to the season, 2 losses on the bounce bring us back down to earth. A slight concern that the down turn in results have coincided with us bringing more of the new signings into the team.

Grant looked good tonight, Maja worked hard but it wasnt his night, Johnston and Fellows added more life when they came on, maybe Styles did too, but important we bounce back at the weekend and more players than just Maja/Fellows/Mowatt contribute.

Midfield was atrocious again what is Carlos seeing that all of us can’t it’s not balanced and no legs in there
Wallace is well past his prime fellows is surely capable of playing at least an hour 3 times a week.
Grant tried hard again but Johnston needs a run of games now he seems to be trying too hard when he only has 20 minutes here and there
Heggem struggled for the second game running but has been solid overall so far
Furlong better tonight
After a good start the Bartley/Ajayi combination is now looking like it always did
Plenty for Carlos to think about
If I was styles and Holgate I’d be knocking on the door after 2 poor performances on the trot

looks like the early season optimism is over.
I think it's a case of we are not as good as we though we are..
Some poor selection issues over the last two games from Carlos.

shame, much improved from the Wednesday game and a tight affair against a very strong Boro team. Disappointing how many here think we've played badly or ignore that Boro are actually one of if not the best team in this league in every department except scoring goals. They were better but this wasn't the terrible showing so many wanted it to appear.

2 poor team selections in a row, 2 losses.

Racic and Swift cannot play together we all know this apart from chap who picks the team.

Swift being told to come deep to collect ball when he should be number 10 is highly illogical.

Mowatts told to drop deeper to take ball off CB's as well. We are completely overpowered in midfield.

Baffling to select Wallace over Fellows, Wallace is absolutely spent, everyone can see it.

MJ was awful when he came on.

Full backs were ok, CB's MEH, Maja not had much to help.

We've got players like McNair and Holgate who can't get a minute, McNair can't get in squad and he's a top 10 champo team defender.

Easily our best player and his frustration at the end was clear to see.
