The fact he can move around the pitch much better than Yokuslu makes a massive difference.

No longer sitting that deep and happy to engage further up the pitch.

As for Racic - has the makings of a rolls Royce in this division.

Yup that was my first thought as well he looks like a more mobile Okay!

Need to watch the full game replay when i can. My seat was fairly flat to the floor and while he looked good, i didn't see him as 'Okay in his prime' good.

Won't be many who get the better of him physically. With him and Heggem added to the team we look a strong physical outfit.

Surrendered possession a bit cheaply at times but as units go he's a very mobile double wardrobe and surprisingly nippy on the turn for a big fella. Definitely more of a Scharner vibe about him for me as stated further up the thread. He's doing Okay at the minute but I'm expecting big things for us once he settles into a run of games.

Lost the ball 7/9 times.

Just checked. He only touched it 9 times in total and conceded possession twice. So it wasn't cheaply 'at times', it was only twice. His pass completion rate of 78% looked low in comparison to a number of his teammates proving stats aren't everything  ;D .

Think this lad is trying too hard at the minute and just needs to calm down.

What a quality ball for the Maja goal that was, tempted the keeper with the ball in and then his delivery swung away towards Maja who received it at a great height. He obviously has superb talent and I cant wait to see him when fully match sharp.

I personally feel that he could be a great option as the 10 instead of Swift, he is more than capable of dropping deep to collect the ball and his attacking attributes are clear to see. Over the season I think he will be invaluable.

I agree with you in that he would be better rotated with Swift than Mulumby ,I am a fan of Swift but it’s a long season and we have depth, this guy certainly can play but I would have him further up than a CDM
My initial thought and I’d stick with it after Saturday ,was that Diakite should be the one to come in if Molumby is out ….i thought Diakite was outstanding on Saturday .

Exactly who I thought of when I saw him last week, looks miles off the pace for English football.

Tidy on the ball without being amazing. Woeful off it.

6'4 but spends most the time on the ground after being outbattled by a little fella.

This league has hit him hard IMO and now he's being targeted.

Well he's going to have to get used to it. Unless we can ship him back at Xmas and try and sign that midfielder we wanted from Sweden.

He looked like a guy that wasn't told what his role was. He covered every blade of grass, but for all the wrong reasons.

He can play football…4 weeks ago the club were at fault for not getting an option 😃
Seriously,he looks like he’s confused with where he is supposed to be..

Not sure about this guy at all, has very little positive impact apart from one excellent assist.

It feels like there is a list of players the manager wants to prove a point with
And a list of players the club brought in that are not getting time
McNair,Holgate,Styles,Cole ,Diakite seem to be on the second list .
Whereas Racic has been woeful so far but keeps getting game time

Spot on Zippy , Frabotta too.  Holgate and Styles in particular surely have a place in this side.

4 weeks ago everyone was disappointed that we didn’t have an obligation to buy ?

Not me mate
Was a generalisation and I get that it was most rather than all

I still think he can actually play,I just think he doesn’t look clear on his role or sharp enough for the league (yet) but it does feel like Corberan is determined to get him on the pitch ?
Meanwhile I think we understate how important mulumby is,have we lost when he starts ?

Not been majorly impressed with Racic either, couldn’t really see why some jumped to praise him so highly a few weeks back and thought it was premature. On the other hand in moments there looks like there is something there, so I do understand to a certain extent why he’s got some chances.

This is may be  why he’s been highly rated in the past but ultimately been shipped out, there’s something, you just can get it regularly enough.

I don’t think there’s any agenda from Carlos though. I think it’s easily understandable why Frabotta, Cole, McNair, Diakite, Holgate and Styles haven’t had many minutes yet.
