Going to go to this even the robbing buggers are charging £37 a ticket.

Anyone know what pub the Albion fans will usually go to?

Colback got his 10th YC of the season today so a 2 game suspension inbound means he misses the game with us.

They can get stuffed with a bargepole. Sideways. The good news is that my neighbour doesn't charge me a penny to watch the football on TV and I choose to get the beers in. COYB  8) .

I still have nightmares about when we played QPR a in the League Cup Final back in the late 1960’s I think.
Having no ticket I bribed the turnstile operator with a ten-Bob note and got to see the match where ‘Chippy’ Clark put us 2-0 up at halftime only for some bugger called Rodney (Plonker) Marsh scoring a couple if I remember correctly, resulting in us losing 2-3. Was it Mark Lazarus who also scored for them?

I was there in 1967. Chippy was basically marked out the second half. Rick Shepard was gouged by Marsh when he scored. The ref shoud have disallowed it.
I used to work for Concentric Pressed products and his girlfriend worked there too, he showed his chest to us... it was still red raw on the Monday.

Yes 1967, I was there with my dad. We won against West Ham the previous year over two legs, and the QPR game was the first Wembley final.
We won the FA Cup the following year though  :)

This post is positively dripping with double entendre. Could I have let it pass without comment? Yes. Was that likely? Not really  ;D .

From the above 1967 team line-up, the only player I cannot remember is Dennis Clarke.
Anyone remember him? What a great squad that was led by Graham Williams - a top class full back.

Seem to remember John Kaye was a hard as granite Yorkshireman who did very well as a number 9 post the Derek Kevan era and later in his career Kaye reverted to centre-half and again excelled in that position.  Jeff ‘The King’ Astle took over the number 9 shirt and the rest is history.

Sure do, Dennis Clarke in the 1968 Final became the first ever substitute in an F.A Cup Final when he came on for Yorkie Kaye.
In those days of course only one sub, who had to named before kick-off. I always assumed that Kaye must have been carrying an injury as Dennis was chosen as sub. He certainly did not let us down despite us being on the back foot for most of the second half at least.

Remember him coming on in the FA Cup Final hardly surprising you don't recall him he made 21 appearances between 65/68 then played for Huddersfield and Blues.

Same xi as last time I think

It is.

Disappointing to see Diangana keep his place, but hopefully he repays the faith from CC and actually does something for us for once
