Abysmal 1st half but sounded amazing 2nd half. Credit for his HT team talk!

Have to give him credit today. Turned it round with a positional change, tactical changes (play higher up the pitch) and presumably a rollocking.

Hopefully he's learnt Weimann can't be used as a lone striker! Although he has reverted to things before that haven't worked

Just a very clever coach, as he keeps on proving. A game lasts 90 minutes and he is always prepared to change things around. Not nearly as predictable as some believe. If only he had a proper centre forward available. That’s not been an issue today of course.

Genuinely hope I never see another first half as bad as that under the last manager. Just woeful in pretty much every sense. That said I'd very much like to see the second half replicated more often. Fantastic turnaround. COYB  8) .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

Carlos got his team selection and formation wrong today just to accommodate his captain, Wallace is for the time being our second choice winger and can do a job as emergency no 9. Moving Grady out on right wing to accommodate him in whole didn’t work today and should have been rectified in first half. Give coach credit for getting Tom on at break but his tinkering cost us 2 points imo.

15 points from last seven games, 5 of which have been away from home. I can’t imagine that many would have expected that. Well done the last manager. You may not always get it right but are definitely getting the absolute maximum from these limited players.

Contradicting yourself. If he isn’t getting it always right how is he getting the maximum from the players?  :D

No one gets everything right, all of the time, the last manager manages to get a lot right most of the time, good enough for me, I think the team is still improving as the season moves on, it needs to if we are to achieve play off success, Maja M'Vila and Phillips could be crucial.

Don’t think the chairman will be too impressed. Subs should’ve been made at half time. I’ve got no data to back this up, but it feels like he always struggles against teams that play 3/5 at the back.

I think our chairman has more sense than expect perfection from any manager or player come to that.

Of course he has. And he might be quite happy with an 8 games unbeaten run.

Ok mate, we get it, you are the truest supporter of WBA. Unlike me you never say anything bad about the team.

If you don’t think the performances have been bad the last few games then you are completely deluded.

Correct

We do appear to have some really negative “fans” amongst our supporters.  Everything is based on extremes.

This is a very tough division. We have no divine right to win.  Other teams in the division are entitled to have good players and good technical coaches to stop us playing the way we want too. It’s a 46-match league and we’ll end up in the play-offs, which is par for this squad, especially given that we haven’t spent a penny on transfer fees.

Wait for the play-offs. Lose those and the “Carlos must go” idiots will crawl out from under their stones again.

More good sub decisions today which helped rescue a point. All 3 subs made an impact esp Diangana.

If you've listened to, or read any of our owners interviews, you'd realise that he doesn't need to understand everything in a business venture. He employs others to do that. Carlos knows his stuff. He'll leave substitutions to him, and not get involved. Most probably because he doesn't understand the reason for any footballing decision. That's a sensible dynamic.

He's deluded for having a different point to you?

Anyway, fair play the last manager. Displays not been great lately but there were some who said manager could only win or draw after taking the lead.  Four games in last 5 we have come from behind to win or get a point, so that's a positive for me

Correct to pull this up, it was a rude and juvenile comment. Apparently not expecting perfection from the manager means we are all deluded...

Team and players are doing great.

Bomber said after the game what I thought for a while, in that we look jaded.

Yok was poor again and we just haven't got the energy of a Molumby to protect the MF.

Just like the Leeds team under Bielsa we look like we're running out of steam.

This is down to the limited, old squad we have and not the last manager's, who I am certain knew of this issue, hence the signing of another aged freebie in M'Vila.

With proper backing the last manager would have had us better than where we are now. Forced to play NC after trying to get rid of him last summer, when he should never have been given an 18 month contract, and then just giving up on him when bringing in M'Vila.

I didn't expect anything from the Millwall and Stoke games, but thought we'd beat Watford, so 3 points from those 3 games isn't terrible, but there was no way we would have given away a 2 nil lead if the players weren't knackered, even though they have just had an international break.

In no way should the last manager be blamed for the failures of others if we don't make the top 6.

Big games against Rotherham and Sunderland ahead and hopefully we'll get maximum points.

You might be right that the players are tired, but we have no right to win every game in a notoriously tough league, when teams like Stoke near the bottom and fighting to stay up with a decent coach make them very difficult to beat at their home ground. The very nature of the Championship, with games coming thick and fast, makes it really tough.

We’ve just got to keep grinding out the points and we’ll be fine.  Many of the teams around us have to play each other.  We’ll be fine to reach the play-offs and then we’ll have a chance in that lottery.
