Terrible performance, pretty much what I expected though. We are so poor.

I'd drop O'Shea and Furlong as their lack of ability for both goals was inexcusable. Pieters should have put a tackle in on Ndiaye for the second but just jogged by the side of him. Townsend had a mare for the first 10-15 minutes and wasn't much better after that.

Livermore did okay, he often led the closing down and TGH never shied away from the ball but he did misplace a number of passes. Molumby needs to start next to TGH on Tuesday.

Diangana and Wallace were below par, Wallace in particular. Too many times we hade Wallace, Phillips and Furlong all stood in a line with no movement.

All I can say about Grant is that BTA did more in his first 5 minutes with holding the ball up than Grant did in the entire game. He was still at Huddersfield for a couple of months after Coberan joined but I don't think Grant ever played for him.

I could understand Reach being brought on for Townsend and wouldn't be surprised to see Reach start on Tuesday.

Swift really frustrates me, he has shown flashes of being a very good player but nowhere near enough. I'd probably play him on Tuesday night in the 10 role (if we go 4-2-3-1)

Coberan will now be under no illusions as to how hard his job is going to be. Hopefully he will use the World Cup break to get the players well drilled into how he wants to play.

That first half performance was as bad as it gets. It was awful.

The players looked all at sea - and that defensive unit is one of the worst I’ve seen. We’re shoe horning full backs into this side and it really shows. The lack of a natural leader is really damning throughout the whole squad.

The second half was better - it really couldn’t get worse - but we’re clearly a side that is under coached. There are no patterns to our play, there is no movement and we generally have no idea.

Honourable mentions to TGH who never hid whilst those around him did. Well done to Phillips who I thought bust a gut but was generally let down by his end product.

Grant, Furlong, Townsend, O’Shea - stunk the place out. Horrifically bad.

Apologies for not having read the whole thread. I've been busy trying to word posts in such a way as to avoid legal action. I really hope I've succeeded  ;D .

Onto the game. I don't think I learned anything new about any of the players I didn't already know or suspect. I genuinely hope Carlos has because if he hasn't...... we'm most definitely doomed.

COYB and  SOTV 8) .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.
