Apparently we were interested in Wilder last time around and our board/ceo spoke with Sheffield’s equivalents and we’re advised to give him a berth as he’s trouble. This was from someone ITK within Sheffield. They were insistent we dodged a bullet. It didn’t come across as sour grapes as they used to be pro Wilder.

Wilder was a busted flush by the time he left Sheffield United and his time at a well financed 'Boro tends to confirm that.

Slaven Bilic  ;D

Whoever voted Bilic, might not be that far wide of the mark. As he has lost  2 out of 3 games, equaling the popular Rob Edwards loses before he was sacked and had played 10 games

There is a God after all  ;D

That was a relatively easy one to call, just took the board a bit of time for a whip round for the payoff

Poll reset. I'm going for Mark Robbins this time

Think the Poll needs re-doing, Paul Warne is at Derby not Rotheram.

In all the excitement of appointing Carlos, I nearly forgot to reset and update the poll, but it's up to date now.

With all the goings on at Wigan, this time I'm opting for Leam Richardson

I have no idea why but I am quietly confident it won't be Carlos Corberan (lumps on Carlos Corberan with a free online bet  ;D ).

Wrong again!!

"Wigan Athletic can confirm that Leam Richardson has left his role as First Team Manager of the Club.

We would like to place on record our thanks to Leam for his efforts and dedication throughout his time at the Football Club, and wish him well for the future.

People moan about our board, but Wigan's take some beating. Just fired the manager they gave a 3 year contract to a fortnight ago!

LR was being linked to us when he whom I shall not currently name got the bullet. Funny old game this management lark.

Think i'm in agreement with this - they showed no desire to cross the half way line versus us, and doesn't seem to have changed much in the games since. The Boro keeper was sat against his post mid game against them!
