Red Cards
« on: February 10, 2022, 04:50:56 PM »
It must be a record-breaking season for us with red cards we have collected more red cards than points recently.
I don't see games so can't reliably comment but from the views of others, it strikes me we are being hard done by the referee fraternity.

Hard done too?? Or reckless, stupid, needless tackles giving the referee a decision to make?? If we were hard done too, where's the successful appeals?

I didn't see the game Wednesday but by all accounts, one of theirs didn't even give away a free-kick for clattering Grady that sounds like double standards to me and not for the first time this season if the comments are any kind of guide.

Ref never even spoke to their player, but he did seem to have a word with Diangana...maybe he thought he dived?

The two challenges seemed very similar to me but I've not seen the Sheff Utd one on any highlights to compare.

Thinking of the red cards we’ve had this season I cannot put up any defence for them.

Needless, reckless challenges in non threatening areas of the pitch.

7 red cards this season. Not good enough.

We have 3 central midfielders who are a liability regarding rash challenges. They have to learn their lessons very swiftly or they shouldn't be picked. Livermore needs a longer spell out of the team this time.

Does anyone know if the club has a fine system for suspensions ? If they do I expect Jake Livermore should be paying us more back than we’ve paid him this season !

Will Livermore have missed more games due to suspension than we’ve played at 15:00 on a Saturday this season?

If Joe Masi is right, then Livermore has missed 7 games and Albion have played 6 Saturday 3pm home games
