From football insider .Hope this is rubbish.

https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1241974937?-11200:789

Ipswich Town are in advanced talks with West Brom over a deal to sign Tom Fellows, sources have told Football Insider.

The two clubs are locked in talks over a deal worth £11million, and are edging closer to a full agreement for the winger.
Should an agreement be reached, he will travel to the club’s training ground to undergo medical checks and complete formalities before Friday’s (30 August) 10pm deadline.

If true then I give up. In the current mad climate he shouldnt be leaving for less than £20m.

If true, club needs to play hardball with Ipswich or anyone else that comes in for him. Takes the gloss off the Johnston deal.

Speculation. But if true would turn a good transfer window into a mediocre one. I doesn't make any sense. Fee is too low and why sell to a club likely to be relegated and possibly face us next season.

Football Insider is clickbait garbage. This will be repurposed from yesterday's news. 'Sources have told', 'edging closer', 'should an agreement be reached he'll have a medical'. Total word salad.

I work in other branches of the media but well acquainted with how these online-only organisations function. Would hazard a guess this is written by someone for £20 an article (if paid at all) and he churns out 10-15 a day, repurposing other articles - all needing to hit 200 word minimum.

West Brom News, 90min, etc etc all in the same boat. Give em a wide berth lads, they're swill.

Less then £20million is an utter nonsense.
He will be worth double that next season if he continues to perform as he currently does and will hopefully have put us in a position of potential promotion and even greater financial stability.
If he goes for less then this, it  is a short-sighted lose/lose for all and I for one will be very disappointed with the new owners.

Ipswich don't really  need another winger they're fairly well stocked for that position.

Whilst at some stage unless we make it back to the Premier League Fellows will be sold but hopefully for a very good fee. It makes no sense to sell him cheaply at this point. Financially I get around £20m would probably be accepted but it would leave us unbalanced again with only Wallace on the right. I hope it doesn’t happen - yet.

Why would we reject £10m and ‘be in talks’ over £11m?

If he were available for £11m then Southamptons offer would have been entertained.

Goalkeepers are important and Ramsdale and Johnstone are quite good but not exceptional yet supposedly going for 20M and 10M respectively so it would be nonsensical to sell an acknowledged probable star of the future for less than 20M

What are you all getting worked up about the consensus seems to suggest no senior players are leaving.

26. Bad knee injury a couple of years back and entering the last year of his contract. You're right it's not an exact science.  It's not quite the same situation and context either.

Good question
Don’t hold your breath on a reply

I still don’t think fellows is 100% staying
10m rejected Southampton
11m rejected Ipswich
Now with Everton /palace and a couple of others “allegedly “ interested…could quickly get to
15-17m and a keep For rest of season deal
