He's only gone and scored...

Nice composed finish

Has to score when he gets himself in that positio, and do so no problem. As you say, controlled and composed

It's something he needs to improve on for us, his goal return. He needs to add that to his game.

Nice to see him on the scoresheet for England. Hopefully he comes back having avoided injury.

The kid is a monster...that goal may also add on £1 million to his eventual value when/if sold.

Last season Johnston had the best minutes to goal contribution time at 149 minutes, Swift was next on 187 minutes, BTA on 210, Fellows on 212 and then Wallace on 257. I think his stats are really good for a young lad playing his first season at Championship level.

This season he has been on fire with a goal contribution every 104 minutes (yes, I know, it's early days yet).  I wouldn't be surprised to see him hit Mikey Johnston levels of contributions....or even better.

I'm really looking forward to Fellows and a fit Johnston terrorising defenders.

If we can keep those two fit and firing, the sky's the limit.  I'm usually very cautious, but they are so obviously way above par for this division

Agree so much with this. Teams can double up on the one but surely they can’t risk doubling up on both of them which is a hell of a weapon in our arsenal being able to attack down both flanks with such great effect. As much as Grant has been impressive thus far, we need to get MJ into the team as soon as possible and let the pair of them win us the league with Maja to finish off the supply line now   ;D

Absolutely brilliant.

You've got the crossing and tracking beck sorted, now concentrate on your shooting, and you will be the complete player.

With him and Mikey on either wing, we are going to destroy a team soon.

Arguably could have slipped Maja instead of shooting when he cut in from the right and shot. But he's still so young and is still finding ways of getting free of his marker. The intelligence on the first goal is class.

Interesting stat on Sky that he doesn't have that many touches in the game as you'd think but boy does he make them count!

Concur if he needs work on his finishing he does seem a bit lost whenever he get in the box but he is young and sure in time that will come! Tbh as long as he keeps providing assists then he doesn't really need to score goals

Needs to work on his left foot now teams have clocked onto him
Still set up a decent chance for maja but I thought furlong was dire today
Furlong overlapping sometimes would drag players away

The curse of the call up to the under 21's strikes again, he has been a shadow of his former self since then.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing - but should we perhaps have accepted that £10 million offer for him?

Absolutely not. Fellows is a terrific talent and going through a period all young players do (he wasn't going to get an assist every week, was he?).

I think Corberan is trying to use the squad, but what disappointed me most yesterday was how we didn't get him in the game. When he did have the ball, he had a couple of great runs.

My criticism of him, which is the same of Swift, MJ and Grady, too, is that between them they have scored zero goals. That is unacceptable for a team with aspirations of play-offs or more this season.

Yes, lets get rid of Fellows and Corberan and we will definitely be promoted.
