Friendly today.
« on: March 19, 2021, 05:36:39 PM »
We appear to have played a friendly today against Huddersfield.

What seemed like a relatively strong/experienced team ran out 3-1 winners with goals from Diangana, Peltier and Grant.

It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

I didn't notice Pereira or any of the loanees.

Could be the first bit of preparation for next season...

Depressing if so, with Kanu, Peltier and Livermore involved.

Hopefully it's just for sharpness in the 3 week break.

....whats not to like ?

More games on TV 'if' we're competing near the top, more midweek fixtures, more early weekend kick offs as per last time and generally more expensive away tickets while the Vile and the Dogheads pull further away. Apart from that.......

What’s the point of this post about a friendly with a team 17th in the Championship?
Surely we could have arranged a friendly against superior opposition.

Haven't seen team news anywhere. I couldn't see Sawyers anywhere or Grosicki which goes to show how far they are out of the current head coaches plans.

So they could remember what three points feels like.
