Joshua was comprehensively taken apart last night by Dubois. AJs mind just didn’t seem to be in the right place: 20 seconds before his KO he was talking to someone in the crowd. Dubois was impressive and any thoughts of AJ punching from distance went quite quickly

Joshua got bullied last night

For me he is finished as a top level heavyweight.

Dubois looks hungry, and powerful.

He never was a top level heavyweight. But yes, he's finished now.

You beat me to it. Some excellent PR from Eddie Hearn to convince us he deserved a seat at Boxings top table.

Get back to that gym AJ

I’d argue Joshua was a top level heavy weight - both based on what has been around for the last 10 years and even going further back, given they are super heavyweights nowadays. If he wasn’t, then it begs the question of who was for the last 10 years? Klitschko, Parker, Povetkin and Pulev were the best the division have had to offer for the last decade and he beat all 4. He wasn’t as good as Fury and clearly not as good as Uysk, while I’ve always felt Wilder in his pomp would have found the winning punch, but after that he deserved recognition as being in that top rung of heavyweights.

He hasn’t been the same since the Klitschko fight, his efforts to become a smarter, all round boxer seemed to take away his offensive skills and he started to look more ordinary.

I don’t see a way back for him now. If Dubois can do that to him, there are 10 other heavyweights who could probably do the same now. He will take on the rematch I would imagine for one last pay day but I can’t think of a boxer coming back from an annihilation like that to win a second fight or even come back any stronger.

Don't pay as much attention to boxing as I used to. That said I didn't see anything from Dubois I didn't expect. What I didn't expect was just how easy it was for him to do it. Basing this purely on the highlights I couldn't believe how Dubois was able to do pretty much whatever he wanted with Joshua being so open, overreaching and off balance.

That first knock down must have taken more out of him than it appeared to. Really think he needs to retire before he gets retired and just enjoy his money while still able. There comes a time when boxers and their promoters need to cash out. From the evidence of those highlights it ought to have been a while ago now for Joshua.

Can't recommend enough that he doesn't take the rumoured rematch with Dubois and whatever he does I hope he isn't too proud and stupid to get into a boxing ring with Zhilei Zhang. Zhang might be 41 but he'd take Joshua apart. More than time to hang those gloves up.

He was fighting at the top level and winning world championship belts, twice.

He was a top level heavyweight, regardless of yours or my, opinion.

I was never fully convinced by him either, but to say he wasn't a top level heavyweight is untrue

As SmethDan has not posted yet, I feel obligated to do it for him, so here goes.

I felt that it was a fairly even fight but Serrano made a bit of a ham of a couple of rounds

116-112?? Felt Fury Vs Usyk 2 was a lot closer than that!

I thought it was closer too but to be fair I don’t really think Usyk was troubled by Fury. Usyk does not seem to have a pain threshold, when Fury did land he just smiled and carried on. Bloke is made of granite.

I don't have a problem with the verdict overall just the distance in points/rounds.

If I were Tyson Fury I'd have been embarrassed by that performance, embarrassed all the way to the bank. Didn't watch the whole fight but for me he didn't do anywhere near enough to force a decision.

Usyk a clear winner on our TV. I must have watched a different fight to the one my lad watched when he was out with his mates though 'cause he thought Fury won. Laughably.

Ditto that . So many rounds were close but with the method of scoring used you have to have a winner in each it is very easy to see how that sort of difference can arise !

watched the whole fight and as you say usyk clear winner how many times did the referee have to break them apart mostly fury smothering usyk"s body far more clinical by the winner
