They say we would be nothing without Lukaku yet where would they be without Benteke?

Teams like Man City and Liverpool have gone to Southampton and lost so to win by 3 goals is excellent. Thought MAF up until his sending off was excellent and Lukaku could have had at least 4! Record points total now so lets go and finish the season strongly and see where we can end up.

"Odemwingie woooahhh, Odemwingie woooahhh, he drove to QPR, they left him in his car"

The whole situation has left me baffled, bet its making good viewing for people watching sky sports news though!

I wonder how it will effect Pete though?

That's the first thing i thought when i heard he had been left out the squad. For us, its great news as Pete is a huge attacking threat but im just wondering is he going to sulk now? Im sure hes done plenty of interviews talking about the ACN so im just hoping he doesnt take it too harshly.

Really glad we managed to get the 3 points. Even though the performance wasn't the best, i don't think they threatened very much throughout the match. I think at times we tried to force it to Lukaku a bit too much when maybe we could have picked an easier pass. All in all, things are looking pretty good for us at the moment!

Watched them today and wasn't overly impressed and i thought their defence looked very average.

Alot of effort put in today but the sending off just completely knocked us back. By the sounds of it, Ben Foster made some cracking saves to keep it at 3-0 so thats one positive i guess. Need to make sure we bounce back next week against Reading.

Mulumbu's retired from international duty and Pete wasn't selected. We don't lose anyone i don't think

If I remember, Mulumbu has come out of international retirement now, might be wrong though!

Going from interviews that i've read from him, he seems really up for proving to Chelsea that he should have played more last season which can only be a benefit to us. Personally i cant wait to see him in a West Brom shirt!

Its not the start of the season all around the world though, some countries are half way through, some at the end and some like us just about to start.

Suppose you're right, didnt really take that into consideration! I think we are quite lucky that we have ready made replacements who can come in for the Liverpool game if needed.

Add this to an apparent injury to Shane long and it just emphasises what a stupid idea it is to have internation friendlies 3 days before the start of a new season.

So, IF Lukaku signs and we go along with the trident 4-3-3 attack, we're looking at

                                                 Lukaku

 Rosenberg                                                                     Pete

                                   Morrison/Gera/Dorrans/Brunt

                                Yacob                        Mulumbu

This obviously leaves out Fortune and Cox and Long.... Of which we will need 1 or 2 for the bench and such.... Mental!

I cant help getting excited when i see a line up like that  ;D

Wolves have stuck by Kightly while he was injured then the first chance he gets he jumps ship.

I always thought Miller was a good player up until he got injured vs Pompey then he was never really the same after that. Back on topic, im quite excited about this signing and hopefully we can pull it off. Would provide good competition for Thomas.

I'd like to see players like Wilshere, Rodwell, Cleverley etc been brought into the squad for the qualifiers.

I think i was underwhelmed when i first heard he was going to be our new head coach, but sitting here now im really impressed with the way he came across and the ideas that he has. Heres hoping for another solid season.

Lets make sure we show him during the next 2 games how much we appreciate what he's done for this club. Will be gutted if he leaves but as many have said, would not begrudge him the move.
