so glad we didnt lose even with nothing at stake. i hate losing at anything. hopefully roy as recognised our flaws and jp backs him to rectify that. going forward we create so just a little tweaking and some backup for pete. great season.

id take a boring 8-16th for a few years. look at teams like newcastle,sunderland and everton. they attract nearly double our attendance and its the best these teams can hope for. with man city,yanited,chelsea,arsenal,liverpool and spurs seemingly having the top 6 wrapped up we can look to compete with the teams i mentioned plus stoke,villa,bolton,blackburn for the next 8 places plus the odd surprise like qpr who might throw some cash around. but with a stronger squad we can give the cups a good go.

he,s ok as a sub. i think its more pressing we find a pete replacement incase he misses games. the only names i can think of that we can afford are johnson and maynard. i actually think someone like carlton cole or cameron jerome would be great signings aswel if we can go that far.

both will have a decent future but too soon for them yet. we need a steady eddie right back with experience because reid is injury prone. time to move on ibanez and tamas keep meite and dawson as back up and go get a leader at the back. same in midfield we need another battler because mulumbu andscharner are always going to pick up bans during the season/

total over reaction by some. and dont agree totally with the lack of height thing. i dont mind them winning there fair share of headers it was the 2nd balls and knock downs where we showed no passion or desire to win. some of that was purely down to us being safe. i,m not condoning that, a local derby with the chance to finish top midlands team was also at stake. carson had a good game, jara was poor but never helped out by tchoyi. shorey was ok same olsen. meite is an accident waiting to happen. mulumbu was given little help by morrison. so roy, youve now seen our squad. for meite read ibanez and tamas all not good enough. jara not good enough in any position. for morrison read tchoyi decent subs.
