Be interesting to see if diakite plays centre half and Holgate right back or we go to a back 3 with wing backs

My opinion is it’s one game and time to trust in our youth and give Nelson a game at right back
We are so slow in giving opportunities to our youth and he was on the bench the other week, most certainly have a plan b in place just in case but it prevents completely altering our set up with little to no time to train for this
I’d also like to see diakite play alongside molumby in midfield, this gives us more mobility in midfield I really think mowatt can’t play in a two man midfield he can’t run
I’d leave the front 4 the same barring any injuries
Be nice to see Whitwell getting some minutes off the bench too Racic has been distinctly average the last half dozen games

Norwich play some lovely football and look a threat every time they go forwards but also look suspect at the back
Not sure which way this is going to go but I’d lay my house there’s more goals

Good work from fellows grant should score

I’m all for attacking football and yes we are struggling at the back with injuries but if we are going to play what more or less is a 4-2-4 mowatt will struggle when we haven’t got the ball
It could be 4-4 bit on clear chances created Norwich should be winning

2-1 Norwich
We ar lucky it’s not 4-1
Whilst having the extra man up top makes us more of a threat our back 4 have been poor and mowatt doesn’t have the legs to play has a 2
There you go 2-2 great finish maja and assist from fellows
I’d have diakite on for mowatt
Goal grant disallowed hand ball

It’s a cracking game for the neutral
Norwich look like scoring every time they attack

They should score again
We are being opened up far too easily

Good reflex save from palmer stops us going behind
He should score

Was just about to say an assured start apart from palmer but typically we start to slow the game down after going ahead
I keep saying is this a player mentality thing or acting on instruction
The only criticism of there goal Holgate needed to be getting into a near post position sooner to stop that cross

I agree entirely Keith. Sad thing is I think I have seen in one way or another, every goal he has scored for the club, and in my humble opinion he is the most natural goalscorer on the books.
He seems to have a knack and looks a good finisher
I often think he reminds me of Defoe
Some things can’t be coached they come naturally when you think of finishers like Defoe and fowler
I’m not sure how old he is but I still think he’s got a chance and maybe needs a good year free of injuries to fulfill his potential

I didn't say anything about Taylor, but I have previously said CC doesn't trust him and I was proven right when he was then loaned out.

Hopefully, he comes back from this latest loan and makes a better impression on CC and becomes a first team regular like TF.
No but you mentioned looking abroad for cheaper options to Ajayi and Bartley
Which I’m all for by the way Ajayi and Bartley have never been consistently good enough and has a pair an accident waiting to happen
I generally think CC is very risk averse to blooding youngsters and prefers experienced players perhaps not to the extent Pulis was
My point was we have a young centre half who is currently playing every week in a back four in a team top of the division below us , where we should also be scouting who is ours and will cost us nothing
I think by doing well in a back 3 and now a back 4 he deserves at least a chance
But given we had Bartley,Ajayi,Heggem,Holgate and McNair at the start of the season it was right to send him on loan if cc put him behind all of those
Now 3 of those options are not available should we bring him back in January and start to blood him or leave him on loan?

Brilliant signing and I think he will be our long term ch alongside MH (who is on a free next summer but wages may be an issue).

It's no surprise Bartley is injured, and Semi isn't good enough imo, and we really need to cut the cord next summer with these two and find better and cheaper abroad (like Heggem).
Surely we have to give Caleb Taylor a chance
Did well in a back 3 and is proving his worth in a back 4 at Wycombe who are currently top of league one
If he’s not ready for his chance now will he ever be?

A win at last but my god that 2nd half was terrible
Subs were questionable
Why take off maja and not bring Cole on, instead he brings on out of form wingers
Talking about out of form wingers Fellows really needs to work at his game , other than the step over there’s nothing, he needs to offer what grant does and too some extent what Johnston did today something different to his favoured trick or option
Mowatt was another who was anonymous again, watching him chase after players is painful
I’d like to see diakite and molumby together in some games
We looked so good for half an hour then was it tactics? Subs?tiredness? Or mindset to go back to slow walking sideways and backwards football
The subs again made us worse
I never jumped on Corberan bandwagon and I didn’t jump on the sack him bandwagon
Let’s see how we fare after the international break

Half time. A game where this should really be won already.
Hull look nervous at the back and are giving it away trying to play from the back
Furlong has struggled defensively, on both sides our full backs allow far too many crosses into the box
Saying that hulls left back has gone past fellows more times than fellows has done to him
Fellows looks way off it, so to mowat
How can anyone run so slowly mowatt looks so unfit
Molumby has had a decent half , so too Johnston,Grant and maja
Our full backs need to stop the flow of crosses it’s clear to see hulls main tactic
If we still maintain an attacking intent we will score more , but you can also see hul scoring again

Midfield need to get the ball, and hold onto it.
Mowatt has been anonymous again

Goal Hull, it’s been coming.
We need to work much harder in wide positions stopping crosses
We had got complacent and sloppy

Has expected the home team are playing higher in an effort to get back into the game but please don’t go too negative we look dangerous when we go at them
Another nearly moment for hull we looked ragged at the back
All there dangerous moments coming down our right side furlong needs to get tighter

And another. Good work from Johnston down the left. Furlong heads it back in for maja to nod home from a yard out.
We look dangerous down the left so far

Get in double deflection just what we needed a scrappy goal
Hoping fellows has a good game looks low in confidence
They hit the bar
Furlong standing off for a cross comes out to edge of the box and they are unlucky

I’ve just been looking at our last 8 game slump and if we can win at Hull it’s not all that bad
In isolation some of the 6 draws were decent results
A draw against Burnley is similar to the draw against Leeds earlier in the season and no one moaned at that
Every team has a Sheff wed half and the fact we nearly rescued a point was more galling
Blackburn and Luton away decent draws
Millwall we always struggle to break down
I’d say only the Cardiff and Oxford draws were poor , Cardiff deserved it by the way and could easily have won it
Negative tactics cost us against Oxford after dominating the game mostly
Hopefully a win tomorrow improves everyone’s mood
Over to you CC , shake things up a bit
