Fellows unplayable surprised he was taken off.
Mowatt very good. Furlong pick of the back 4. Heggem looked like a cb at left back but that will be one if the better wingers he faces. Frambotta did well when he came on which is encouraging as that shifts Heggem inside.

Dobbin looked better as well today. Shame about Grady. Diakite though very impressed with powerful running nice turns and some crunching tackles.

Fellow’s are best player and Wallace needs to buck up his ideas as he was not at all effective when he came on.

Three points from the potters is great, Fellow’s, Maja and Grant did what was required up top. Bartley and Swift were poor in possession, thought Frabotta and Diakite looked useful but Wallace looks the shadow of himself which is a concern.

Feel sorry for the kid and his horrendous injuries since he’s arrived but good welcoming news on his progress. All down to previous owners and the cut backs that were taken in our once successful medical department, sincerely hope new owner rectify’s this.

Wish Carlos would take his foot of the brake and pull up handbrake because that was one tedious affair today. Talk about being overly cautious was an understatement has he got no faith in Grant putting in a defensive shift on left wing it buggers up our most effective attacker in Fellow’s  on right. I don’t know if Dobbins can do job out there or we need to get someone who can.

Right now, we don’t heave a big enough squad to be able to afford to pick up any injuries in a relatively meaningless cup competition.  I have no issue whatsoever with the decision to select a reserve/academy side.  Yes it would have been good to win and provide the fringe players with extra games, but blooding these youngsters and seeing how they fare against senior opposition is important as CC needs to know how “ready” some of them are to challenge for a first team place.

he left these kids hung out to dry, this was just a glorified under age game that is no way to blood youngsters. Even those on periphery of first team this did little except get minutes into legs a friendly would have given them that.

Nothing embarrassing about it at all. Correct decision to prioritise the league game at the weekend. Getting knocked out the league cup is also a blessing. 46 championship games is more than enough to focus on.

of course it’s an embarrassment for club  to get knocked out of competition by lower league opponents anyone who thinks otherwise needs a good head wobble. I mean excuses coming in post match are that medical staff suggested players needed a rest now that is laughable after one game. A winning habit breeds confidence and a cup run brings in cash to help with FFP.

Some people are getting far too upset about the loss.

Players looking bad in a team thrown together isn't exactly surprising. Focus on the positives, goal for Faal, some promising performances from our youngsters, some minutes for the new players.

Hopefully the youngsters can go out in loan.

that should keep kids going till FA cup, hung out to dry by Carlos imo.

Anyone intimating that Tom should be sold needs their head examined, he’s the only attacking outlet we have. And if owner sanctioned sale then the lunatics have truly taken over asylum, Carlos needs this kid  imo to keep hold of his job as relegation would be a sure thing especially with our recruitment department. Now these are the people who should be put under scrutiny as incomings bar Heggem don’t seem to be all that.

I don’t rate our youth team set up think players are being loaned out to teams with no joined up thinking in their development. Caleb Taylor looks like he’s gone backwards since his loan, I was expecting him to be pushing for starting berth this season.
