Things don't look good how in the space of 5 or so years have gone from being a Mid Table Premier League Club who at 1 point had Steve Clarke pushing us for Europe with Romelu Lukaku a player who has fetched over 100 mil in his career on loan to us. Beating big teams and being financially well run always respected in the press and by other fans and to a degree our Black Country Rivals from Wolverhampton who were in the dumps. To being uncertain of if we will have a Clun in 5 years and constant changes of chairman and manager. From a Squad smartly built real Mid table club coups or clever loans to exitcing youth. To a squad who over the years has been put together on big wages, big fees and bodged together like a dodgy Extension. We have now done some Smart business and got potentially one of the best managers in the league and potentially a man in demand by say an Everton or someone. But of the feild we are a mess, I don't think we own our training group part of if not all of the land is or was owned by Aston University. Walsall Council will be approving our application to improve it. If we were to sell it as it falls on the Walsall Side of Great Barr and not the Brum side then would it be as desirable because half of the land is owned by Aston University which means you can't build as many houses as you would like and also it would be a legal mess and they would be cut off. And as we are Walsall Side we aren't in the Desirable Perry Barr regeneration area we fell the wrongside of the A34 Flyover for that. As for the ground well it is likely the Community would buy it to at least keep a Phoneix club there. Greggs would presumably negotiate with whoever took over the land to buy it. Sandwell Acadmey could buy our academy facilities to potentially use for there Football facilities or lease it to a goals. I'm not sure how the one by Thomas Moore school in Darlaston works but I think Goals lease it as if Tommo are using it the Public can't use it. So there is that the ground itself well it's on the A41 and a stones throw the M5. West Brom is 5 minutes or so away by Bus. Merry Hill probably 30 away by car. Birmingham about 20 away. You have Trains and trams not far and a school across the road but you would have industry around and technically again a bit far from Smethwick's new Swimming Baths or the Sandwell Aquatics centre as it was known. If we were faced with those prospects is there actually much to sell. Assuming the School buy our Academy Greggs buy the Land there and assuming leaving the ground. Also where would new Albion Play Villa Park is closest but as of the rivalry no chance. Bescot ay to far but now Walsall have ownership of it and potentially might be doing well would we want it. Wolves again rivalries no. Blues again probably no, It could be at first sharing like many non league clubs would do as we would be a groud so Halesowen or Stourbridge or Lye. Moving to potentially the Bescot as we got into the leagues before potentially building on the empty land where the shrine sat to build our new home. But either way we are in trouble I seriously doubt we would be allowed to go bust. We have to much history and legacy for that. We have Famous Fans and a lot of backing from the Council and to a degree rivals would probably not want to see us go. As much as we hate each other they would probably chip in. After all it was us Wolves and Villa who created the Football league. If you lose Albion you lose a founder of the Football league and all the heritage and for Wolves a Black Country Derby
