West Bromwich Albion FC / Fixtures 2014/2015
« on: May 29, 2014, 11:03:16 AM »

Fixtures due out around the 17th of June

The last 2 seasons we have started at home and finished at home.Lets hope for the same again.

Lets start with a nice easy game.Villa at home.QPR last away and a decent theme would be ideal

No changing home games either SKY >:(.You can change all the away games as much as you like though :)

Any early fixture rumours lets have them

For me it has to be the super heros at QPR

All remaining games Spanish flags etc starting at Swansea. We must make JP fully aware that most of us are behind him and would be even more disgruntled if he got rid of him

That's if you can remember of course. What i am trying to say is when was the last time any of our attacking foreplay got you on the edge of your seat. Chelsea at home last season maybe?
So come on Lets have your most memorable moments of yesteryear.Try and think of a few from with in the last year and not just 1979

West Bromwich Albion FC / Why cant we attract a Sugar Daddy
« on: August 30, 2012, 04:41:53 PM »
Not that i like them much and we do extremely well with our resources considering we are the poorest club on paper in the premier league but can someone tell me why nobody wants to touch us, is it something daft like the area we are based or something else.
I would say to a rich man we are a decent case for his play toy.
I am more than happy with what we have as long as we remain competitive and stay in the premier league for a very long time.
I understand we woulde vulnerable with a potential foreigner but why are we one of few clubs least attractive to the mega bucks man?

Too many foreigners in the premier league earning wonga.com.Not enough English kids coming through and its going to get worse with 3 billion at stake
All we have is heart and a bit of stamina. No skill or footballing brain what so ever. i bet the Irish would beat England at the moment

Who would you prefer in the team for the rest of the season? Start the game basically

For me MAF should start every game because of his energy and attitude but who do we start with him

18
And your nominees are?

The term legend is used far to freely these days. The Chelsea goalkeeper has labelled RDM a Chelsea  footballing legend :o

Dont  be greedy, just name one each

West Bromwich Albion FC / How do we replace the Liquidator
« on: February 24, 2012, 01:47:06 PM »
Having read the Lords my Shepard thread it got me thinking how can we generate atmosphere prior to kick off.Surely if the players come out to a cauldron of noise it would have some effect how they come out the blocks from kick off and not the snails sluggish pace that i have witnessed in the last few home games.
Obviously the right pre match music could make the world of difference.
I know the Liquidator has gone but is there anything we can replace it with.
Someones mentioned the great escape music, anything to gee us up a bit prior to the start of the match.
If Emily does a good job maybe she will come back again :D

In trouble with the FA. Telling the Italian press John Terry should should still be in place until proven guilty.
I do agree with him but will he survive.
I think we should get rid and go get Glen Hoddle to oversee the Euros

West Bromwich Albion FC / How many more away points do we need
« on: February 02, 2012, 08:14:16 AM »
Going on our poor form at home

Away
Wolves
Man U
Wigan
Everton
Man City
Liverpool
Bolton

How many points from that lot? Will we pick up away from home to ensure survival if we take into account our poor home form

I would say 6 points from those games leaving at least 2 or 3 more home wins needed

Home
Swansea
Sunderland
Chelsea
Newcastle
Blackburn
QPR
Villa
Arsenal

Surely we can get three wins from our remaining home fixtures

In all 4 leagues, rather embarrassing really would you say with the so called flair players we have.Straight jackets spring to mind.
