Leaving at the end of June.

Thanks for your efforts Semi, and good luck for the future.

I think he will end up back at the Millers.

Fenton Heard has been released too, as well as Ted Cann and some other youngsters.

Cleary and some others have been offered deals.

Rohl needs to walk away for the sake of his career, or else he’s not getting another job until the end of his contract

He can walk away, but he won't go anywhere else unless the £5m release clause is paid.

If Still goes to Southampton that could potentially leave Danny Rohl looking for somewhere, although I’d imagine he’d have interested parties from some in the Bundesliga & maybe even Leicester if they sack Van Nistleroy

And the little matter of £5m release clause.

Nestor probably asked ChatGPT who to appoint after Corberan left.

" Hello, Mr Nestor, I hope my last suggestion Devante Cole is banging them in for fun. Regarding, a suitable manager for West Bromwich Albion, I believe Tony Mowbray, is the right man for the job. He has achieved very litlle since he was last at the Hawthorns, but he needs a clean bill of health, and a
lot feet softening creams."

I'd like to change my vote from Jonny Heitinga to Ryan Mason. The more I read and hear about him, the more impressed I am. Among all the young and up-and-coming managers, he stands out as the best of the bunch in my opinion.

That's why nobody has given him a job yet, and Blues also ignored him and instead took his colleague Chris Davies to be their manager.

Watching Stockport v Leyton Orient and can't see the benefit of appointing Challinor.

You know what will happen if we appoint him.

He insists we sign Louie Barry.

Any decent manager speaks to his predesseor and the staff and the staff left behind to find out what he is inheriting.

Our Tone, seems to think he knows better and doesn't take training sessions, and abandons hotel stays before matches and advocates for a contract renewal for swift.

Wake up and smell the coffee folks, he was an absolute disaster.

I cannot believe there is so much sympathy for Mowbray.

An absolute shocking appointed.

Let's blame everyone else for his defencienies.

Don't we own the hotel/pub car park opposite? So could we not re route Halfords lane and make the turn earlier and then get rid of the original top end of the road and then take Halfords lane back?

The Greggs, which I presume you are referring to, is a listed building that cannot be touched.

There are definitely names out there that even if they didn’t have any experience, because of their football brain you would still be interested…
Please note this is all hypothetical and I have no idea if they have ever expressed an interest in management, but Toni Kroos,Luka modric, pirlo,Paul scholes and Gundogan all come across as obvious future managers .

Forgot to mention Pirlo, has managed clubs too.

I always thought when we redeveloped the ground we rebuilt the stands in the wrong order.
If we had done the east stand first we could have moved it back and took up some of the car park. Then if the two ends were moved across to meet the new east stand, there would have been plenty of room to build a proper stand on Halfords Lane

We had no choice.

The rainbow was already all seater, whilst the Brummie and Smethwick weren't. The government gave grants to clubs to go all seater, that is why they were built first, and without government assistance we couldn't afford to pay for them then.

I also agree with the first two points. I was once mistaken for a NUFC supporter in a pub because our navy is so dark, and that's the shade I want! And that pink was just appalling.

However my favourite away kit (and I do like the green and yellow) was our black one when T Mobile were our sponsors.

The programme for the 2008 Fa Cup semi had our colours as black and white.

Having said I like the traditional dark blue, and it says more about the idiots printing that programme and their lack of knowledge than it being too dark.

That black umbro top with T mobile, you mention, is also one of my favourites, although I wear it less these days as the umbro on shoulders is wearing away.

Can you explain the rationale behind Heitinga? I mean, other than him being part of title winning coaching team, which is good, I’m just curious to know more.

I’d be happy with any of those that you’ve mentioned. Mousinho perhaps has little experience but the experience he does have is good so far.

I was impressed with his short spell at Ajax, and now that Cooper is not option (on this poll anyway) I prefer him as he knows the English game as a player and as a coach.

Hopefully, there is no release fee could also sway it for us in terms of loans we previously have missed out on like Doak and Koumas.

Much prefer him to Mason.

I wrote on another thread regarding Mason, that we have to ask the question why nobody else has gone in for him.

When Blues were looking for a manager they went to spurs and it wasn't Mason they wanted it was Chris Davies another coach there.

I don't want him.

Heitinga is my first choice, followed by Muslic and Mousinho.

Saw a name on the odds list that seemed interesting for no apparent reason to me and I feel only Smethdan may be able to advise on why…

Thiago Motta.

Anyway moving on from connotations of the word Motta…he was at Bologna 22-24 and seemed to do fairly well there. Went to Juventus, less so. But the Bologna link interesting. Currently sitting at 25/1 so nothing to suggest he’s coming, just haven’t seen the name before.

No chance.

There are several reasons why I advance the argument of a New Ground and maybe we don't have to move further than across the Halfords or as mentioned earlier  if we can acquire other land on the east side of the ground. The point needs to viewed in the context of Lepkowski's article.

His gripe is that the club should be doing more to engage fans and grow the fan base which has the obvious benefits in terms of our financial strength. I am broadly sympathetic with the argument although personally immune from the lure of corporate hospitality or extending my matchday experience but each to their own.

My view is that if you really want to galvanise the club and take everyone including it would seem the fans out of their comfort zone then nothing would do that quite like getting new and significantly larger stadium I plucked an ambitious number out of the air 40,000 seemed to do the trick. Filling it is a challenge unlike filling 26,000. It completely changes the landscape.

I agree with those who point out it could be the biggest of white elephants, if we are marooned in the Championship. However the PSR regulations cap what Bilkul can spend on players but they do not cap what they can spend on the stadium. In the longer term an investment in our facilities will give us more money in the future.

There are of course limits to what Bilkul may be willing or able to spend. They are not obliged to spend anything. I wouldn't mind if they didn't after all it isn't my money. However an ambitious stadium project is in itself a statement of intent it signals to fans and potential fans that this is different this is bigger.

Build it and they will come.

I've used that Field of Dreams line many times on here regarding ground expansion, only to have it shot down by " Peace, was right we couldn't fill our ground", blah, blah, blah.

Our ground looks very aged now and hopefully the introduction of waiting lists will lead to expansion, but feel the cost of such an endeavour is beyond the means of Bilkul, and I think whoever they sell us to after stabilising the club and getting it promoted will be the one most likely to entertain expansion.
