Seems as it's Valentines day, who is the Albion player who first made you love the Albion?

How did Le Fee get on tonight for Sunderland, does anyone know if he tore it up or just seemed ok and he's over rated??

Not sure but Isidor missed 2 penalties, well keeper saved both

I wonder if Robbie Keanes name will come up and how people would feel about him.

73% win percentage in 56 games during his first proper club job at Macabi Tel Aviv and won the league. Left due to politically / safety reasons it seems.

And to be fair we are his boyhood club  ;)

For what it's worth I'd go for Cooper

Edit - ah it's not their first win but their 2nd, first win in 20 years though

it's their first "real" win, the other was a friendly

Can see the difference between the kids and first team can't you

Can't rely on many of these if we have injuries this season so we still need to sign a few, Heard and Whitwell looked good

Not too bothered about the result to be honest

West Bromwich Albion FC / Disabled parking
« on: August 07, 2024, 12:23:35 PM »
Was just wondering if anyone could help me out, my mrs has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and has been classed as disabled.

She loves coming to the Albion but unfortunately with her condition she struggles to walk far, she has now been given a blue badge to help with parking

Basically my question is: we used to park on the Church on Forge Lane but that is too far for her to walk, is there anywhere closer she can park now she has a blue badge

Can we park on the East Stand car park itself?

(sorry if I have put this in the wrong place)

Thought it was nailed on personally. Not just saying that because it was awarded to us either. I'd have had no issues had that been awarded against us.

finally seen someone other than me saying it was a penalty  ;D

I don't get how in the laws of football it wasn't a penalty, the Dutch defender was late on his tackle, the ball had already gone and he caught the striker. It's 100% a penalty

There is a table on wikipedia that explains how the 3rds place team draw works, but they have a pre determiend pattern that was drawn our pre tournament.

thank you, so at the moment an England vs Holland game looks likely

stupid question but really can't get my head around it.....
IF we win the group, we play one of the 3rd placed teams in I think A/B/D/F... how do we know which one we get?
Do they draw lots or is the answer a lot more simple?

Are we able to pay by Direct Debit? Didn't see that option on the site.

Nope, they have cancelled the option due to a regulatory requirement due to the takeover

Looking at the notes, there's a red flag if you don't attend 5 times (not sure if that's consecutive or random). It looks as though non attendence puts the st at risk

Which is all good until they move the game and you can't attend it anymore because of work shifts, also no going on holiday in the season anymore  ;D

I'm really glad that he has said that it is a long term project and not to be expect miracles straight away

Thats what we need as a club, someone who can build it over a period of time

Keep Corberan in the job for as long as possible until another club take him, but he genuinely seems happy to be here

Out for the rest of 2024 then
Albion can confirm Daryl Dike will be out until the end of 2024 after suffering an Achilles tendon injury at Ipswich Town on Saturday.

A rupture of the USA international’s left Achilles will require surgery, followed by a period of rehabilitation.

The club will provide Daryl with all the care and support he needs to return to full fitness later this year

Game wasn't great but 3 points is all that matters, took his goal well

My man of the match would have been Yokuslu. That guy is simply class

Carlos Corberán’s men then face QPR at Loftus Road on Wednesday, March 6.

That fixture will now kick-off at the slightly later time of 8pm and will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Looking forward to this one, 3pm on a Saturday! What a stupid time for a home game, that'll never catch on  ;D

Half my family are Bluenoses and they have said that both John Ruddy and Oliver Burke are absolutely dreadful, no doubt they will all play like Prime Brazil when they play us though as the blues always seem to raise their game against us

Will be weird seeing Tony Mowbray in the away dugout

For what it's worth I fully expect Wolves to beat us 3-1 tomorrow.

They are a totally different team to who we used to beat, they are the Premiership team who have players that probably cost what we are expecting to sell the entire club for

Neto and Cunha worry me massively, really expect them to rip Townsend and Furlong apart

Hopefully we can nick a goal and keep it respectful

Just hope the trouble is kept to a minimum and everyone can have banter without having to turn it nasty

Will be interesting to find out just how far we are from being able to compete with a midtable premiership team and show where we need to be if we achieve our target of promotion at the end of the season

unfortunately it just won't be us who catches them ;D

The only problem with non league football since covid (and it's fully understandable) is that the ticket prices are getting closer and closer to £20 a ticket to see Conference-Conference South/North games

Solihull Moors for example charge £18 a ticket, for £10 more you could go and watch Championship football
