I hope all the people who stood, clapped and even tried to sing this idiots name finally pull that wool from over their eyes and see what a child this man is!
If you're unhappy at not playing, fine, but bloody hell he's a 31 year old man with responsibilities and is acting like a spoilt 13 year old just because he can't get his own way! Just because you may be the highest paid player at the club doesn't mean you can hold it to ransom.

Get rid, give the younger players a chance to develop.

And to think some people actually wanted to see him sign a new contract at the end of the season

How many times have we read and said "Brunt was average, Brunt was poor, Brunt didn't look at his best"??
Unfortunately, sh*t stinks. He has somehow managed to pull the wool over the eyes of so many fans it's unbelievable!
He will put in a good cross or corner every now and again, he'll look for a nice through ball or cross-field pass which 1 out of 4 will come work, but what else does he do?
He's no leader, he's proved that, he doesn't tackle well, he hasn't got pace or ability to run at and beat players, his free-kicks, which at one time were deadly, are poor and usually hit the wall or first man!
Drop him, simple as, give Dorrans a run or invest in a decent left mid in Jan.
