Must win for me,hopefully we've added to the squad.we need to go into every game as if it's a cup final and go hell for leather,we've got nothing to lose now it's do or die.

Not a must win unless others just above us win. We must maintain the 4 point max gap at worst.

If we do go in front, we MUST keep going for it, no more of this "seeing the game out" nonsense.

Biggest game we will have this season. Imo this will define the rest of our season.
Must win and we need to stay behind the lads for the whole game.

As caravan said, it's do or die.

No point at any time now trying to play defensive.

At the moment my only concern is whether Evans foot injury is legit or a lingering issue that won't be resolved until February or until he's sold ...

But assuming it's a nothing injury and he'll be available for this one:

Foster
Dawson
Hegazi
Evans
Gibbs (or Brunt if Gibbs injury is serious)
Phillips (I anticipate he'll be recovered by then)
Krycho
Barry
Brunt (or McClean is Gibbs is injured, not my preference but it seems it is Pardew's at the moment)
Rodriguez
Rondon

Genuinely the only changes I would make are Dawson for Nyom (there I said it), Brunt to left back, Phillips or Burke for Kanu.

Foster

Dawson
Hegazi
McAuley
Brunt

Barry
Krychowiak

Phillips
Rodriguez (unless by some miracle we sign someone or Chadli is fit)
McClean

Rondon

subs. Myhill, Evans, Nyom, Gibbs, Field, Burke, Harper, Yacob.

No Kanu, No Livermore.

This is simply our biggest game for years. Win and we are back in it and on the back of two successive wins, confidence could grow, especially with some additions in the transfer market.

To lose is just unthinkable.

It's time the boys throw themselves into some tackles, take the good amount of chances we are creating and make a fight for our Premier League survival.

We have to move up as a team and not just 2 or 3 (it was 1 only with Pulis) at a time.
Watch the successful teams, and you will see what I mean.

Have to win this as trying to start a winning streak against Everton away or Man City is an astronomical ask for a team that cant string 4 passes together against Exeter !!

Absolutely a must win but i'm not so sure we'll have any reinforcements in by this game (which saddens me). We need as many points as possible from Brighton/Everton as we all know we'll not be likely to much against Man City after that.

We need to start picking up wins in our next few home games, anything we get away at Everton, Man City and Chelsea will have to be considered a bonus. After Brighton we have 5 very winnable home games against Soton, Huddersfield, Leicester, Burnley and Swansea, we also have away games at Watford and Bournemouth during that time too. Time for the players to stand up and be counted.

Absolutely. This period will define our season, if we can go on a run at home, we stand a chance of staying up and maybe drag one or two of those mentioned into the mix.
Everything starts with Brighton though, we simply have to win this! Pards needs to get his motivational head on and get every single one of them up for it.
From my point of view, I'm not even going to look at the team sheet, whoever he puts out will get 100% support from me, can't afford anything less.
