I'm still unable to buy a +1 even though I'm a season ticket holder. It allows me to add the seat and when I go to checkout there's an error.

I got my season ticket seats without any issues for Soton (H).  I logged into the ticket site today to see that the Southampton home match was available to buy as I have 75 loyalty points.  It let me add the seat for a mate and got all the way to the checkout then it says "Error: Sorry, no tickets are available for your selection.  I also couldn't select him from my friends / family and it was greyed out.  Someone else mentioned that it will only let you buy them if the friend or family member has the loyalty points from previous tickets I've bought and assigned to them.  I need a lie down in a dark room.
Wednesday was supposed to be the first day that STH could buy additional tickets, but system is still not allowing you to complete purchase.

do not select the seat yourself, instead choose the "book the best seat option" and select season ticket plus 1

I've worked it out.  After you've selected your seat, use the drop-down menu to choose 'Season Ticket 2nd allocation' before you go to the next screen.

That was the issue I had after a bit of moaning.

The club could really have made that clearer couldn't they?  Would probably have prevented the phone lines being totally blocked.

Yes It's not very clear at all and I spent a fair bit of time on the site yesterday trying to work out why I couldn't pay for the ticket.  I ended up trying again today and I looked everywhere I could and then by chance found the drop-down menu.  The club should really put clear instructions on how to do things like this and like you say it could have avoided the phone lines being blocked.

I'm a bit of an oldie (apparently) and probably not up to date with all things Internet. Fortunately when I looked on the ticket site earlier a drop down menu popped right into the middle of my screen. If I hadn't seen it I never would have thought to click on it either  ;D .

If you like your podcasts there’s a simply excellent episode of Not The Top 20 featuring a Championship Play Off preview.

I’ve listened to their weekly episodes throughout the season but it really gives an in-depth look at each of the four teams and some really interesting little bits which give the most pessimistic of fans (myself included) some real optimism that we *may* just have a chance.

Check it out.

Interesting, will give it a listen.

I'm hopeful going into the game. We were outstanding in the away game against Saints, despite losing 2-1. Similar to the feeling when we lost 1-0 away at Leeds under Bilic a few years ago. Lost but were the undeniably the better team against a good side.

Home game wasn't great but a couple of unusual factors affected us that night. It was the first game after the Patel takeover for one thing, everyone was giddy. Then the atmosphere was punctured after CC was sent off after 6 mins with Russell Martin waving his hands around like a maniac... (time to recycle to Tim Sherwood chant, anyone?)...

I think it'll be tight. They think they're Pep's Barca so we need to set up like Simeone's Atletico.

Expecting us to be extremely well drilled and difficult to beat over 2 legs. Will need to be organised out of possession, look to threaten from set pieces or magic moments on the break from Johnston/Fellows/Diangana.

To me we’ve got to start maja this weekend

If he could play Maja, I think he would. Not sure he’s ready to start though.

He'll never be ready at this rate. He should have been given more minutes last week.

Maybe its all a secret master plan to not let the other teams how we will play with an actual real striker on the team, and he shoots us to the premier league with goals galore.

I can dream, right?

Given our entire league campaign has not been co governed by VAR I see no reason why it should be used in the playoffs OR the playoff final. I honestly don't see why it should be used during FA Cup games played at Premier League venues when it's not available to EFL clubs during the rest of the competition either. Let's be honest, the VAR usage in the Huddersfield v Forest playoff final was nothing less than an utter joke anyway.

It's akin to changing the rules for a couple of games, players who are coached all year to play in a certain way (to be managed by what officials can see and what the players can influence on the pitch) now have to adapt to a remote 3rd party deciding what is acceptable to the rules, this required a major shift in  behaviour, yes it's the same for all 4 clubs, but it is almost certainly going to be a factor in how the games play out.

Assuming VAR is used in play offs, I suspect it will only be in the final due to the tech not being in place at the grounds of the clubs

I think he had ~1 touch against Preston - in extra time.

VAR is a nonsense. I'm worried more about you though Dan, there wasn't a single joke in that post. Is it nerves?

 ;D .

No mush. Hands are as steady as ever. Mind you my eyes might be wobbling come kickoff time. Early start in the pub I think  ;D  ;) .

Hi,

I've been unable to get all the tickets I need due to me not allocating tickets to brothers and sons account.

If there are any tickets spare I'm happy to pick them up and pay face value.

Please DM if you have a spare.

Saints were the one side in the play-offs I didn't want - the type of side I hate us playing against. That game at The Hawthorns under lights haunts me as they gave us a bit of a footballing lesson. I pray its not the same Sunday because if we don't go to St Marys with a lead then we'll be as good as done in my view.

Whilst I do agree that if we are going to get through we probably need to go with a lead, I don’t think a draw is the worst result in the world. It makes the return a one off and we can be any side at this level in a one off game and any team at this level can have a game to forget.

Get beat at home and I think it’s curtains though as I don’t see us going away and winning by two or more goals when their squad and fans will be lifted by a first leg lead.

Echo this entirely. Would have fancied Leeds with their drop off and the fact I back CC to outwit Farke. Martin has proven already with 4 wins out of 4 against us that this is going to be a very tough ask and I am really not confident in the slightest
