Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo is close to agreeing a new deal with the club. The new contract will run until 2023 and contains a significant pay rise. (Source: Daily Mail)

And another wedge for Mendez from both parties (allegedly)  :D

I agree, nothing Ramsdale could do about either. Bizarre comment.

With those 2 goals? Even Johnstone's harshest critic would have to let them slide...

Of course they are they can spend more on 1 18 year old with only 180 minutes of football to his name based on potential, than our entire transfer budget.

There's no doubting that they are (and should be) way ahead of us given the difference in resources.

They're organised, committed, aggressive, technically strong, a really good side. The sad reality of the PL is that they're still probably another £100m off the top 6.

At least our season isn't defined by what happens against the likes of Leicester and Wolves.

You aren't alone, as I saw a few comments on twitter suggesting the same, but having watched the goals this morning i'm surprised he is getting stick at all. 2 good finishes, the second was maybe saveable but would have been a worldie had he made it.

Further employment prospects for the Portuguese. Hope it bleeds Fosun dry.

Still wondering when Fosun are going to bleed the Wolves dry via this agent fella.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Why would they? Fosun and Mendes have found themselves a nice little money vehicle and without Wolves those cash streams would dry up.

You're asking the wrong person.

It was established wisdom amongst some on this forum that Wolves were going to be bled dry by them.

Diogo Jota arrived at the ground today, then left within minutes. Nuno has been asked about it 4 times in the post match press conference, including the question “was he injured” but Nuno just keeps answering “not available”.

John Percy Twitter Account

Wolves now very close to signing Barcelona defender Nèlson Semedo for £29m. Semedo, 26, expected to sign later in the week. Right wing-back was a priority for Nuno after the sale of Matt Doherty #wwfc
