Just shows to me how far off we are being a Premiership team again. If we managed to go up via the play-offs without a massive spend  we would be destroyed every game. Without a fairy-godfather with a magic wallet we would just fall back down again. We are in the place we should be at the moment, top end  Championship squad.

I am delighted with what CC has achieved with the same set of players as the previous incumbent. With our current set of injuries a draw would be a great result, a win would be sensational, a loss by the odd goal would probably be the most likely.
Whatever, just keep the momentum going, and watching CC on the touchline i think that his energy alone will make this happen.

He has exactly the same players that Bruce had. He has skilfully recognised their strengths and weaknesses, dropped those that needed dropping, picked those that fit depending on the team we are facing, used substitutes very astutely. He has formed a team from a shambles. that play with commitment and structure. He has also bought into the mindset of the Club in a way that is extremely significant. This guy is exceptional on many levels, Bruce was absolutely light years away, if he had still been here we would be rock bottom and doomed to Division 1 without a doubt.

Above Norwich, in the play offs, from relegation form a few short weeks ago. CC is a bloody genius, the real deal. If we had a half decent owner we could be flying now.

If he keeps getting results then the sniffers will be interested. If he leaves, God help us, i think it will be the end of us. He really is that good i believe.

I think CC is bringing out the best in every player. They are being coached at last.

Such a shame that the transformation on the pitch is taking place under this toxic background. I hope we can keep the momentum going despite the fact we have the worst owner in the Universe.
Keep protesting though until the loans are re-paid.

I think he took one look at our squad and jumped at the chance at joining us. Knowing his own abilities he knew that the squad he was inheriting was extremely capable of a playoff position and only sheer coaching and managing ineptitude had gotten us into a terrible position that did not reflect the potential abilities of the players. (With reluctant reference to the previous incumbent, who could pick some good recruits but had no idea how to use them, some of that squad strength was down to him.)
He seems incredibly competent and passionate and reads games very well, extremely attentive to every detail. Exciting, very very professional, he has transformed our team. We are lucky to have him and let us hope our luck holds out for a couple more seasons.

CC is an utter superstar. He has immense knowledge and a passion that is catching. He is the best thing that has happened to the Club in many years. He will be the next Pep.

I said it before on another thread. This Manager is very , very special. He will end up at Barcelona or Man City, he is that good. We are very lucky to get him at precisely the right time in his journey.

CC is the real deal and will end up, ( hopefully after several successful seasons with us) at Real Madrid,  Barcelona or Man City after Pep retires with his wine collection.

Could be wrong but I thought it was a case of mistaken wording and Rob was referring to a loss of two seasons as opposed to two years. He who shall not be named had more than enough time and games to make more of a fist of things last season. And he who shall not be named clearly didn't make the most of the resources at his disposal this season either.
Yes i was actually referring to the useless 2 seasons under the previous incumbent, who i find it difficult to even name anymore. He was just an utter and complete waste of space, time , effort and money and hopefully will never set foot in any Managerial position ever again.

Stabilise, strengthen and progress on fitness and attitude, that should keep us up. To be honest i think that is all we should expect given the disgusting mess the previous incumbent and his 'keep banging on' no coaching philosophy left us in.

Comparing CC to the previous incumbent is like comparing a gold nugget to a dog turd.

Just listening to CC speak after the game, discussing tactics, dissecting individuals performances and being totally absorbed in the teams interactions you realise immediately the difference between what we have now and the previous incumbent whose after match discussions where limited to 'carrying on banging on'  What an utter waste of almost 2 years.

If we go to League 1 there will not be many cracking away days as we will go into Administration and disintegrate. The tipping point for us as viable Club has come and gone, doomed, we are doomed!

Great appointment all round and superb backroom additions with sound experience rather then being relatives and mates.

Now i believe just keeping us up is his main goal.

Any other expectation is unrealistic given our current position, our talented yet unbalanced squad and our lack of funds.

Building slowly and getting us balanced, motivated and fully firing by next season will do me.
