My mate has just text me who knows one of Gary McAllisters mates.  He was saying that he was sacked earlier today but news not released yet.

Aston Mental Asylum's annual day trip goes a bit pear shaped after an impromptu rendition of 'If you're happy and you know it clap you're hands' gets out of hand.

I hope the club ban him for the way he was climbing over the gates, serve him right.

I can't wait to see the reaction of the Villa fans when McLeish walks out of the tunnel for their first home game!

Last time that happened, it was a cracking game. Lost 4-3 though. :'(

Villa fans think they are an elite club that is the problem. They aren't. They are still a big club but they are not as big as they were twenty to thirty years ago. They as a club have fallen a level but their fans don't accept this. They are similar to Wolves who also go on about how big a club they are, truth is they are no bigger than us. Blues fans are more like Albion fans in general they are more realistic. I get the feeling that Wolves and Villa fans obsession with being a "big club" is a mask of their own insecurities they aren't going to convince anyone else, it gives them some sort of feeling of grandeur.

Just spoke to my cousin who to be fair is sound, he's still getting his season ticket and will give mcleish a chance because he's a professional coach - he also blames o'neil for spunking a fortune and scaring the pooh out of lerner.

probably the most sense I've ever heard from a villa fan, respect.
