I actually think we should loan him for 6 months. I think he can step up from the bench in the second half of this year with a good run of games in the championship. Quartet of Long Wood Cox and Odemwingie is a good solid 4 for me.

If he goes long term I fear he will be a make-weight for any foster deal  :-\

Just scored for Blues  :)

In Europe against decent opposition (am surprised such a weak Brum team has beaten them soundly, what with fielding 2 Albion sub? What would our 1st team have done?!?)

Good hope he does enough to get a season long loan to them or elsewhere in the championship.

I do hope he can become a good player for us.

I hope it does, but i'm not sure if he will get a place in the side once Jerome and Zigic are back.

No point him coming back here while we have Odemwingie, Long, Cox, Fortune, Tchoyi and Gera to play up front, especially with him socring few goals so far in the lower leagues.

If he can develop this year into either a goalscorer or somebody who leads the line well then he could be used next season.

So that's 2 he scored in 5 appearances yeah? Not bad, i'd let him stay till christmas and see how we're all getting on. I want Brum to stay down, but Wood scoring a few would be nice. If he can get to 6-8 by christmas we can call him back and maybe get a game for us off the bench? Would expect Bednar to be gone by end of Jan at the latest.

2 in 6 actually, which isnt a bad record but not enough to force his way into our team just yet over the players already mentioned. performance levels so far have been mixed but are improving and I think a continued loan at a championship club would do him the world of good.

Fair play to the lad. Hope the goalscoring run continues. Still not sure he has enough for the top flight but you never know.

That's great news. He is now showing real signgs of blossoming into the talented striker we all know he is. Give him another month there and if he is still producing the goods haul him back sharpish.

Cool. Like him but doubted his ability to score goalsa in the games he has played for us.

A whole season in the championship will do him good.

If we persist with lumping the ball will be a real asset.

Hopefully he gets 12 or so by Christmas and we take him back before Brum start doing too well!!! (really don't want them back)

Then he can go on loan to Brighton again or something, mix up his experiences and training. Should we get rid of Bednar and Fortune he can come back to us and be our 4th choice maybe?

Easily has enough potential for this level, he's inconsistent but a lot of teenage players are and there's a lot of rough patches but he consistently shows signs of improvement. At 19 he's played at a world cup, won promotion to the premier league, won league one, played european football, and scored a hat trick in the championship, at 19!

Hopefully he'll get his chance here next season, I imagine Blues will probably want him on loan for the season now.

Better pedigree than Shane Long... Just keep going with the current develepment path and Chris should be fine.

'He really isn't that good. Jean Beausejour and Chris Burke put his goals on a plate. If he hadn't of scored people would have gone mad. He had a shot in the first half inside the box and it went so far wide it almost hit the corner flag! Almost every header he tried competing for he missed and his touch is abysmal. Just because he's got a hatrick today made up of easy goals doesn't make him a good player.'
