Andy Ruiz as defending Champion should be ashamed of himself for coming in at the weight he did. Blamed it on partying. Nobody forced him to party. Bet he won't say about withholding some of his purse.

Agree with that. Ruiz should be ashamed of himself turning up like that. However had AJ got stuck in Ruiz still could have done some real damage.

Pleased for AJ but the Uzyk potential mandatory defence could be very tricky

Well done AJ, I like him he reminds me of a better quality Frank Bruno, if you know what I mean.
If they put up AJ v Fury I think Fury would win.
AJ v Wilder a bit closer but I think Wilder on that one.
Fury is the best in my humble opinion, whether any of these fights come off is another thing.

I think Fury is the best heavyweight in the world and if this goes all the way he wins on points. Wilder though may just turn out to be the best â€œhead hunterâ€ ever. If he was to knock out Fury on Saturday, no doubt after having lost every round of the fight up to it, then I donâ€™t ever see him losing in his prime, especially following the regression of Joshua and Uysk.

Just had a Google search of those names. Highly experienced ref'. Feldman and Moretti have both been involved in point scoring controversy, Moretti more so by the looks of things. Weisfeld seems highly regarded though.

This is the problem with boxing in the US being run by independent state commissions - they appoint a judge from another state, and they're regarded as neutral (if they even go that far).

If you're a foreign fighter boxing an American in America, you have to knock them out, because you could dominate the fight and still won't get the decision.

Hey falloutboy, you are quite right in your analysis.
Fury and Hus camp will be very aware of it as well.
That's why this fight is so intriguing.
I saw the programme on ITV last night about Tyson,very interesting character ,he will go there without fear and as I said in earlier post,knock out the American, I wonder if hell go at him straight from the bell instead of a " warm up " round?".

Well there is plenty of precedent for this. Muhammad Ali's flamboyant self-promotion was heavily influenced by the wrestler Gorgeous George.

I cant see Fury knocking him out, I don't think he will risk opening himself up to be caught. He too clever a fighter and i think the talk of knocking him out is gamesmanship.

I think we see a very similar fight to the first. Tyson winning rounds and demonstrating he is the much better technical boxer, but there always being a risk of a big punch from Wilder. The longer the fight goes on the more desperate for a big punch Wilder will have to be.

Tyson did seem a little subdued last night though, he didn't seem quite as sharp with his comebacks as he usually is.

Anyway, Wilder is vulnerable himself, but if pushed I'd say he knocks Fury out at some stage. Interesting Wilder is at his heaviest. His camp said he came in too light for the 1st fight, he was out on his feet knackered when he put Fury down for that last round count.
