Well if these lot are trying to impress to get info first team they’re not doing very good. 2 right footers on the left don’t help. Edwards final ball is shocking and needs a lot of work. Krovi too lightweight, takes up good positions but doesn’t really look for that killer ball
Ohhhhh Albion we love you!

We create absolutely nothing. All the dross teams in this league are stifling us with ease now we're relying on these back up players.

Sitter missed from Phillips before O'Shea blazes over. Justice as Edwards controlled with his hand.

Looking much better than the stoke game. Getting numbers in the box shame about the quality of some of these crosses.

Too sloppy. If we focused on our passing we’re definitely better than these. Not a great game to watch so far though.

PS...We’ve got 4 centre backs making up our back four. Remind you of any previous managers?  ;)

O'Shea (unsurprisingly gives he's a centre back) really lacks composure on the ball. Would like to see Furlong on at half time as Cardiff giving him loads of space on the right.

Cardiff look very poor too, relying on long throws. They're there for the taking.

Awful going forward   what does Livermore do to keep his place. Krovinovic needs to play closer to hrk.
Phillips anonymous.
Ferguson poor.

Completely disagree. He’s been solid and comfortable.

He's been excellent on the ball in both cup games.

Solid defensively, but given away 3 good opportunities in attacking areas already.

Zero shots on target yet again. We need a centre forward who goes forward,

It’s very similar to 85 minutes vs Stoke. Lots of neat passing around the half way line but struggling in the final third.

When Cardiff gets a chance they try to get forward quickly, they might not be very good at it but it unsettles us. When we get the ball we are so slow we allow them to get set with two banks for us to break down.

Not sure how anyone can watch that first half and think putting a better striker in would make much/any difference.

Kanu is dreadful but has had nothing at all to work with tonight.

Edwards isn't good enough. Phillips has been poor. Good god we need to do some business.

The front three lack quality. Edwards couldn't deliver a letter. Playing well up to the final third.

HRK and Edward's are causing everything to break down.  At least Edwards did well and put a decent ball in that O'Shea should have done better though.  HRK has done absolutely nothing.  How anyone can watch his performance in that half and think he's done everything he could I don't know.

Terrible shooting from ok positions, but there is no lack of effort (apart from Sawyers) just all a bit headless.

were good upto the edge of the box, then we knock it around too much, need to be more incisive and shoot more speculatively

2 perhaps, at least one needs to be held back in case of an injury.

We've got about 4-5 of our best 11 players on the pitch, we just can't afford that many of our better players missing at once. I don't see how we score in this game.
