I think he had to go really, bottom at November and having spent over £100 million in the summer, when you compare them to the likes of Cardiff who have very little to spend and are still more competitive than them.

They spent too much but I think Tom Cairney's injury has been a big factor in Fulham struggling quite so badly. Their whole game was based around possession and him pulling the attacking strings. Yes the prem is totally different but they've been trying to adjust to it and bedding new players in without probably their most important player.

Khan describes Ranieri as 'risk free' which is very questionable despite the miracle he had a strong hand in at Leicester.

He's definitely not "risk free", no manager is, but Ranieri is a good appointment for Fulham and is a good fit for how they want to play.

The main issue with him will be his unnecessary tinkering, he needs to find his best 11 and stick with them. If he does that then you'd think they should get out of the relegation places especially with Cairney, Sessegnon, Mitrovic and Schurrle. I'd say they have a better squad than Huddersfield, Cardiff and Brighton.

Part of me thinks its a bad move by Fulham and I don't know why. I just don't think its going to end well.

They have spent a lot of money and the players haven't really settled in too well. I have seen them a couple of times, that Seri in the middle in particular, considering he was linked with the big boys, he's looked average at best at times.

They have a good enough squad to climb the table if they put a run together, need to stop leaking goals though.

From the point of view that unless they change something they are going down Raneri is risk free the worst that can happen is that he will get them relegated but that is their fate anyway. As terrible as they have been and running at less than 0.5 a point per game while conceding 2.5 goals a game is proper bad they are still only 4 points behind Newcastle in 14th.

As things are shaping up after 12 games you might only need just over 30 points to stay up and finding 3 worse teams than Fulham who have some decent players should not be impossible.

A Post from an Everton forum 22 minutes ago: Hanging on against Cardiff , thats just embarrassing. Truly awful display today, with so many players off form. Only Gomes and Lookman looked decent. Bringing on an extra defender is just ***** embarrassing though. Are you big Sam in disguise Silva?

To be fair Cardiff played well yesterday. But out of all the promoted sides I think they are going down.
So my reviews of the Promoted Sides
Wolves Finish 8-14
Now before I get slagged of let me say this Wolves do have quality players and play a good style. Look what they did with City, United, Arsenal and Spurs been unlucky not to win a few of those games. Now a wolves fan said Everyone expected a small little club from the Black Country to get smashed by the big boys but they didn't they tried to compete with them and almost beat them. So if Wolves can get a decent level of form I think they can stand a chance of finishing Mid Table depending on who they sign in January.

Fulham Finish 11-19
Again Fulham do have some good players but there defence looks awful. If Raneri can sort the defence out then they could finish Mid Table or lower half of the table. If he can't they could go down again lets wait until January to see what happens.

Cardiff City Finish 20 Relegated
Apart from the fact I don't like them and can't stand Warnock I think Cardiff are going down. There team looks like a Championship side maybe Mid table to Top Six Championship Side. Unless they buy anyone decent in January they look like they are going down. Of course they might survive because Warnock is that kind of manager. And Huddersfield look awful as well. Huddersfield though have a Manager who knows where to get good players and Huddersfield could get going. But Cardiff Have Warnock who likes the British market and I can't see them getting any good form or signings in January.

Huddersfield were 13/2. Incredible odds against a newly promoted side. Plenty of money to be had off the Wolves this winter lads! Have already cashed out by the way. Boing Boing!

Wouldn't have thought they'd have him back to be honest.

Football really is a funny old game but I very much doubt he'd be getting a second stab at it.

If ever there is a time for us to continue this good run its now, last thing we need is some poor results and pressure on the club to sack Moore given Mark Hughes, Sam Allardyce and Steve Bruce are all out of work  :o

Hughes is one of those handful of names that continuously get jobs, regardless of how poor they did at their previous one.

Hughes
Moyes
Pardew
Allardyce

Managers that shouldn't be given another prem job but guarantee they will get one.
