No one can deny he's lost a bit of pace, who wouldn't at 30 odd. But he is a natural finisher with a lethal touch and were lucky to have him IMO.

He has bags of quality, pace isn't everything in football.

Any info on the build up which brought on the penalty and who commited the foul??

Keeping in mind were only playing Cork so I'm not getting carried away, but in saying that its good to see us beating a team quite easily that we should be beating quite easily. This really should not be a tight match so its good to hear we are controlling the match and scoring goals. Nice to see both Long and Dorrans score!!

Also pleasing to win these games and also for the strikers to score goals too, so far we have had a very good pre season with a lot of positiveness coming from it.

Was at the match. Anelka was class but also looked extremely interested for even a friendly. Was also nice to see Long set him up for his hat-trick when he could well have taken a shot on for his own second goal at his old club. Suggests there's a good team ethic in the team.
No one I talked yet seems to know what penalty was for, but not too bothered either.
In fairness, Cork City were decent in first half and created several good opportunities, as well as having Foster throw the ball straight to one of them at the edge of the box. Liam Kearney in particular looked lively. With a Cup game the night before and a crucial League game on Friday night, not surprising to see them make a raft of changes in and around half-time.

Doubt there were cameras there so, no.

But there is one guy who filmed a couple of them.
